10/10Amazing restaurant. Great service and ambiance. Very classy without feeling stuffy. Food is perfectly cooked and seasoned with subtle flavors. Highly recommend for special occasion, business, or just a lovely lunch or dinner.

9.5/10Helen was outstanding. All of the food was perfectly prepared (the tuna appetizer with jalapeños and the Dover sole entree were particularly amazing) and everyone on the staff was amazing. It all made for a memorable evening. I only wish they had a menu written in English so we didn't have to torture our server, asking her to translate almost every dish on the menu for us. She was happy to help, but we still felt awkward asking.

10/10Our go-to restaurant when we travel to Paris. Food, wine and service is all of the highest class. At a time when so many restaurants have high staff turnover, it is lovely to be welcomed by Franck and his team each time we visit.

10/10The setting is elegant, classic, timeless and comfortable. The service is welcoming, well-honed and pleasurable with a helpful, knowledgeable but never overbearing sommelier. And the fish takes center stage served up in many ways that are creative without being overdone.

9/10We went for lunch and they were out of langoustine, scallops and mussels. Quite a disappointment. We had a number of fish dishes. The raw fish dishes were very good - both carpaccio and ceviche. The baby squid were cooked well but the texture was not as succulent as we had elsewhere. I ordered the turbot to be plain grilled and that was the wrong order as I could not taste the sweetness of the fish and there was no other flavor. Probably should have taken the turbot with the chef’s normal way of cooking. There were five or six pieces of bones that we picked out - not a big deal as we are used to fish with bones but still a bit surprised for Michelin one star restaurant. The wines recommended by staff went very well with our food and was priced very reasonably.

7/10This is our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit was very pleasant and the cuisine was excellent. The cuisine was excellent this time but unfortunately, the service was very, very, very slow. The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant but seemed oblivious to the fact that we were made to sit for a long time with no food service. Someone is not performing their job properly.

10/10Everything at Helen was wonderful. The service was perfect. The menu (we had lunch) allowed for a choice of selections from a la carte to a tasting menu. The suggested lunch menu was perfect for us and given the quality of the restaurant reasonable at 50 euro per person. The noise level was very good. We visiting Californians enjoyed the opportunity to watch French businessmen at work.

8/10Helen is an attractive restaurant with a menu that is the Holy Grail for seafood lovers, especially fish. The staff is gracious, well informed and speak near perfect English, tho' the menu is only in French. An English version would be useful given the long list of choices. The neighboring table had the tasting menu at 140 euro. It looked like the way to go and what I'd do on a return. The sole meuniere was excellent. I'd pass on the turbotin roti, which was bland in last night's prep. The tuna with yuzu was my choice for stand out dish.

6/10Grilled octopus was overcooked. Staff ignored us for 10 minutes until we stopped one to ask for a drink. No one ever explained the menu to us. The wine recommendations were good. The food was underseasoned, most of the dishes could have used some salt.

6.5/10A nice meal, but not a Michelin star caliber experience in either food or service. We were attracted to the restaurant by its reputation for the highest quality ingredients and exceptional preparation. Several courses were excellent. However, our main course, sea bass, was described in detail as being perfectly deboned. But the plate brought to my husband was full of bones and also scales that had not been properly removed from the skin. It was unpleasant to eat; in fact, part was inedible. When he pointed this out to our server, she took the plate away to the kitchen ... then brought it back and explained that it was SUPPOSED to have scales and that he should keep eating it. When he tried but continued to find bones in the fish, she ignored us. The centerpiece of our "menu decouverte" therefore became the thing that spoiled the effect of the overall meal as well as our perception of the professionalism of the service.

10/10Amazing food and service! We had the tasting menu which was 7+ courses and each dish was simply delicious. The wine suggestions were the perfect compliment to our meal. Highly recommend trying Helen while in Paris.

7.5/10Overall the food was solid. If you don’t reach French, they don’t have English menus and it’s a bit of a challenge to understand all the dishes. Has to ask one by one what the dishes were and the interaction with the waitstaff was a little awkward due to this. Front of house was great.

8.5/10I was a little skeptical at first - but this was definitely a great experience. The food was perfectly prepared with just the right seasonings and temperature. Of note - as Michelin restaurants go, the meal portions were actually a pretty good size. I would definitely come back here again.

9.5/10The restaurant lives up to its name as a superb fish/seafood place. The €48 luncheon is a good deal, with a fine selection of dishes. One big negative point is the expensive wine list. You either expect wall street type customers who don't care what the wines cost (the least expensive white was €55 and then the list shot up into the stratosphere, with bottles in the €300-400 range). We have been to other fine restaurants in Paris and - thankfully - did not encounter this anywhere else.

10/10An exceptional meal. Everything on menu was super fresh. Tuna starter was really delicious and the onion and red mullet Napoleon was well done. The whole sea bass and whole turbot were amazing, served tableside along with delicious potatoes. Curried cauliflower was a bit of an odd accompaniment. Dessert cart had several interesting choices, including lemon tart, chocolate mousse cake, and chocolate and hazelnut bark candy. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.

9.5/10This was our very best seafood experience in Paris. We do not rate restaurants often but Helen is over the top. The carpaccio and lobster salade entrees were great. Then the sole and sea bass were even better. Will recommend highly to our American friends who travel to Paris. And we will return to Helen every time we return. Unlike our experience with other Michelin stars, Helen deserves the prestige.

8/10Food was super, but is not acceptable pay more then 500€ for 2 people , in a orribile table close to the entrance door. Was freezing and un confortable, that change us table ( restaurant was not full.........), only before dessert. Onestly food is still very good .

4/10The main course was not prepared well at all, in fact it was inedible. The only ingredient besides the fish, which did not smell fresh, was too much butter that had melted into a giant puddle. The accompanying vegetables and potatoes were the same. Not at all what one would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant!
