Delicious, high quality and super fresh food! We had a variety of dishes, cold and warm, and everything was excellent, from quality to presentation to level of service. Attentive, professional service. Nice ambiance. We didn't try the teppanyaki experience but it looked like a lot of fun. Recommended to have a reservation.

Always good and fresh cooking. Rice is perfectly cooked. Service is professional and efficient. I often recommend this place and go there with my customers. People are always giving me good feedbacks.

It's a nice small restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was so good that we forgot to take photos of the 2nd and 3rd course; we just dived in and continued eating :) Also really like the interior design. Unlike other restaurants the Japanese look and feel really feels authentic, where in other restaurants it quite often comes across as cheap and fake. But not at Honkaku. When we made a reservation, Honkaku already had a 9+ rating on The Fork and it really is worth it.

Excellent & plenty good; good service on a lively street because of Euro football Cup. For that reason inside restaurant was empty and ambiance cannot be judged objectively.Pleasant management

My wife and I both had a few sushis as well as chicken and beef from the teppanyaki. All of the food was very good. Perfectly cooked and the spicy tuna was terrific (and really well-spiced). The ambiance and service were both good and overall a 9 out of 10. We will definitely be back!
