I don’t usually give 10s, but Hulscher’s absolutely deserves it. Not only is it AMAZING value for money, but the dishes are also SO CREATIVE—yet still surprisingly delicious. It’s flavours that you wouldn’t think to pair together yourself necessarily, but they are just in perfect harmony with each other. As if the chef is letting you in on a secret you never knew your palate was missing. Every plate feels like a work of art, with each edible flower carefully plated onto a dish, like petals pressed between the pages of a love letter. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been, if not, THE BEST restaurant. I will 100% be coming back. I had the eggplant as a starter and pork belly as a main, plus an amazing Pornstar Martini cocktail. The service was absolutely impeccable as well—but nothing could beat that amazing eggplant dish. It wasn’t just food; it was the kind of dish you find yourself wishing you could experience that first bite all over again.

Good food and polite service. One of the chefs got sick and had to leave, so we had to wait up to an hour for both main and dessert but they compensated well with discounts.

Food was ok, entrecote fries mini salad.( 26 e) Thee was an Italian wine by the glass at E 7 Which was descent . Staff was friendly though not dutch speaking. For the toilets you need to get a key. I used a redeem voucher from the fork , this was a reasonable option. Its a central location in a descent hotel , nice open kitchen . all in all quite ok

This restaurant is truly amazing. We had a very good time. The decoration is modern and stylish, the service very good and personalized , and everything we had was exceeding our expectation . The steak was one of the best we had for a long while. I would not hesitate to go back next time I’m in Amsterdam. Thanks to the whole team for a great moment

Very nice restaurant with great service. Edward and Marcello were very forthcoming and awake. They read the table and set up everything in perfect oder. The food was excellent. The catch of the day and the steak were both extraordinary and on point. Both our waiters Edwards and Marcello were super i formed about the menu and could answer all the questions. The atmosphere was really great and calm. Perfect for a romantic dinner for 2 or some friends. Definitely yo recommend.

I come to this restaurant once a year. I think the food is fabulous. The service is superb and also the atmosphere is very quaint. Highly recommend giving Luxembourg a visit....... food is absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely loved it here! The only thing I could criticise is the menu. Only being able to choose with a meat or a vegetarian option. No mix. It made for a very heavy meal, despite the portion sizes being good. Even if you could choose a course off one or the other, it would’ve been better. The service was impeccable. Friendly, warm and welcoming. We would go back. But choose one of each menu options and share-not ideal.

The food, service and general presentation was poor at best. It’s almost glorified pub food in a working hotel. We wouldn’t go back. Disappointing really. The pictures look great but it was a lacklustre experience.

The restaurant has a very nice location in the centre. The food tasted amazing however the staff was unorganised. Also the discount they have for do drink does not apply for the people that come with a reservation from The Fork, so keep that in mind when you order.

Been here nearly twenty years previously and the place had been packed: this time there were four or five other people and some of them looked comatose: the menu was limited to say the least, a selection of croquettes and burgers- you would be better off trying the same in one of the bars in Amsterdam.

the food was really good, the place was great and the service was pretty good. NOTE: The only thing that I would highlight is that if you go with a Thefork discount, they won’t take it (that’s the only reason I reserved in the first place) I had to pay full price.
