    The food was outstanding. Period. It was so tasty, and based on local and traditional cuisine. Wine pairings excellent, too. Rarely do I leave a restaurant and think every course was delicious, but we did tonight. Very efficient and friendly service, too. I highly recommend I Carracci.

    The food was amazing it was a mix of incredibly well done traditional Italian food and experimental dishes that made for an incredible experience. The Sorrento citrus, salt and herb sorbet with cucumber was a taste experience I cannot describe. The steak tartare with capers and pizzola sauce was the best I’ve ever had. It is a full service restaurant that gives a truly amazing old style pure fine dining experience. ( you don’t even pour your own wine or water) The staff were attentive and experts at their craft and the meal was timed perfectly with them getting the time between courses absolutely perfect every time.

    Excellent service and superb classic dishes with a twist in an elegant setting. This restaurant in the Majestic Hotel was a last-minute splurge - we all decided on the tasting menu. The dishes were all inspired by classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist, and every single dish was balanced, tasty, and well-portioned. We were particularly impressed with the marinated prawns on a thin slice of watermelon, but every dish was delicious! If we have the opportunity to visit Bologna again, we won't hesitate to dine here once more.

    I Carracci is everything you would want in a fine dining experience. From the fresco painted ceilings, the superb service, and skilled technicians in the kitchen taking the food to a whole new level. We had the six course chef's blind tasting combined with one of the wine pairings so our table was handled entirely by the restaurant's Sommelier who did a fantastic job of pairing our wine to the explosions of flavor coming from the chef.

Regarding the 6/10 for the cuisine, the team recalls no negative feedbacks during the meal and only noticed the low score on our inner survey after payment procedures. When asked, you simply mentioned that you found not particularly special the dishes—feedback that, if shared earlier, would have allowed us to act immediately, particularly for the beef cooking level and temperature. However, all plates were finished, so a barely sufficient rating was quite unexpected. Next time we invite you to report immediately your possible concerns, we will be glad to intervene promptly.     Went here for my birthday, had to book maybe two weeks in advance. Amazing service, great food. I was so full with the traditional tasting menu! There was one guest though with a strange behavior for a public place, I wish the personell told him something about it. But rather than that, our evening was amazing. The hotel interior is also fantastic.

Let me say that for the global experience, 4/10 for the kitchen is a low score which doesn't consider at all the other dishes you had and the quality of the proposals.If you had shared your disliking during the dinner, we could have offered you another dish, that could have meet better your taste. Have you expressed your concerns to our staff? As the staff didn’t reported any negative feedback from your side.     De decor, service and wines were great. However, the chef’s menu was not really exceptional. Dishes tasted OK but the price/quality level was not right and definitely not Michelin level.

Perhaps a 6 could have been more adequate, accordingly to your comments.If only you had shared your opinion during the dinner, I’m sure our Team we could have offered you something more in line with your tastes, as from a further investigation the staff didn’t recall any negative feedback from your side.     Perhaps the most beautiful room in Bologna.... Food however was as disappointing as the room was comfortable. Small portions on the entrees and not well executed. Our servers were competent but not polished and were less than passionate about what they were doing; clearly just "doing their jobs" .... But what was up with the fruit flys????? They were like a plaque. Our server finally brought paper glass napkins to put on top of our wine glasses. The server said this has been a problem there for years and they just can't find out what to do !!!! YIKES!!! We ate in several restaurants in Bologna with indoor and outdoor seating and doors open unlike I Carracci that has closed doors and very functional air conditioning. No excuse for that at all!

    Stopped for lunch while in Bologna for the day. The hotel and restaurant is stunning. Staff were very informative and so friendly. Food was divine. Highly recommend if you are visiting (not too expensive given the Michelin star). Trying the bolognese cooked correctly from where it originated is a must!

    No fine dining menu available until September due to kitchen renovations, we were told when getting the menus. Only the classic menu. If we would’ve known this we had gone somewhere else. It’s still not mentioned on their website…

Moreover, allow me to say that despite the name, our menu is far from being 'classic'; on the contrary, it continues to offer dishes with complex execution, great balances and high quality ingredients. You can still breath our Executive Chef’s creativity in his unique proposals. As you did not mention neither the food nor the service, I am not able to understand what did not meet your needs.I remain at your complete disposal if you wish to contact me privately and I truly hope to have chance of welcoming you in September; our Chef Chef will present the new menu, which will include also three tasting menu, much more sophisticated and which we are sure will meet your taste.TBiondi GM

    This was an excellent hybrid of local Bolognese cooking and Michelin style preparation in a beautiful setting. I loved the room and the service staff. I was totally content and happy when all was done. Btw, instead of wine pairing we ordered a bottle of Barbaresco that was excellent at a great price.

    The food was excellent, and Andrea was an amazing employee. He was so friendly and kind. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with our wine pairing, and no effort was made to correct the issue. Another table also had issues with their bill and being overcharged. Staff other than Andrea were generally unpleasant and unhelpful. If they can figure out the service, this could be an excellent location!

Unfortunately our sommelier wrongly understood that you asked for the 3 glasses pairing option, instead of the 5 glasses. When dessert had been served and you asked for clarification, unfortunately it was too late to provide the missing pairings. I am deeply sorry for the feeling you had about the staff, unfortunately we had an unexpected busy evening and although this is not a good reason, I hope you would consider it as an isolated and unusual episode.     We had the tasting menu “from sea to land.” Every element was delicious. The langoustine was a standout. Everything was really. We did not do a wine pairing, opting for a glass of white and followed by a red to go with the lamb. The suggestions for the wine were excellent. The service was impeccable, but light and friendly, not at all stiff. It was a lovely evening.
