+5Food is generally good (small caveat). Service was top notch and I generally enjoyed my time. You will have a generally good time. The only downside is one of the dishes. The veal chop was a bit overcooked and did not taste that good. It is ok if I get it for 15 euros outside somewhere, but I expected more from the chef given the other good dishes

The moment you walk into the dining room you know it’s going to be special. The waiting staff knew their menu intimately and welcomed every question with grace. The quality was exceptional and the while experience first class.

10/10exceeded our expectations!! the atmosphere is amazing and service was unmatched. the food was fantastic and we enjoyed being able to order a la carte. Andrea (our server) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about each dish and he even gave us advice on how to best enjoy each dish. we’ve been traveling through italy for a few weeks now and this was the best dining experience we’ve had so far. will be back when we visit Bologna again!

9.5/10The food was outstanding. Period. It was so tasty, and based on local and traditional cuisine. Wine pairings excellent, too. Rarely do I leave a restaurant and think every course was delicious, but we did tonight. Very efficient and friendly service, too. I highly recommend I Carracci.

+3The food was amazing it was a mix of incredibly well done traditional Italian food and experimental dishes that made for an incredible experience. The Sorrento citrus, salt and herb sorbet with cucumber was a taste experience I cannot describe. The steak tartare with capers and pizzola sauce was the best I’ve ever had. It is a full service restaurant that gives a truly amazing old style pure fine dining experience. ( you don’t even pour your own wine or water) The staff were attentive and experts at their craft and the meal was timed perfectly with them getting the time between courses absolutely perfect every time.

+4Excellent service and superb classic dishes with a twist in an elegant setting. This restaurant in the Majestic Hotel was a last-minute splurge - we all decided on the tasting menu. The dishes were all inspired by classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist, and every single dish was balanced, tasty, and well-portioned. We were particularly impressed with the marinated prawns on a thin slice of watermelon, but every dish was delicious! If we have the opportunity to visit Bologna again, we won't hesitate to dine here once more.

I Carracci is everything you would want in a fine dining experience. From the fresco painted ceilings, the superb service, and skilled technicians in the kitchen taking the food to a whole new level. We had the six course chef's blind tasting combined with one of the wine pairings so our table was handled entirely by the restaurant's Sommelier who did a fantastic job of pairing our wine to the explosions of flavor coming from the chef.
