10/10This restaurant is a gem. The place is beautiful. The service is young and superb (Alex, Fabio and sommelier Patricio, bravo!). The food is a fusion of Italian and Asian flavors in perfect blend. Overall an experience to remember and a place to recommend.

5.5/10Not what we were expecting based on other reviews. Very confusing fix menu. Super expensive wine list. Service was sometimes lacking. We had to ask for water and wine many times. Unacceptable for a Michelin starred restaurant. The combination of Asian flavors with Italian food did not impressed us at all. Overall very disappointing for the money we spent.

10/10The service at Idylio was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable and discussed the nuances and background of the dishes and wines we tried. It really elevated the experience by helping us understand the Chef's thought process for the menu. The menu itself was a study in contrasts and everything superb. The chicken was the most flavorful I've ever experienced, and even the breads were creative and uniquely delicious.

10/10This was my and my sister’s first Michelin star experience, and we were not disappointed. We chose Idylio after researching Rome-area restaurants and felt it fit our vibe best. We had also recently done a trip to Japan, where the chef has been trained, so we were intrigued to see how he showcases his experience. Chef’s marriage of Italian and Japanese food is genius. The 5 root pasta with caviar almost brought me to tears; it gave me the same feeling as crawling into a warm bed with clean pajamas after a relaxing hot bath following a long, cold day of skiing in the mountains. So comforting. And the sweet buffalo mozzarella was unforgettable for me, as well as some of the appetizers before dinner and between courses. Highly recommend Idylio!

10/10Excellent meal and great experience at Idylio. We enjoyed every bite - the food was so creative, unique and appetizing - and the meal was well timed at a perfect pace that was neither too rushed or too slow. The staff was gracious and responsive, and each made sure we had a good experience. Thank you for an incredible meal - we'll be recommending Idylio to our friends who travel to Rome!

9/10Food was fantastic! Deserving of another star!Staff was excellent with great wine recommendations! They however gave me wrong information that I couldn’t get Marriott Bonvoy points for my meal. The Pantheon hotel said that the restaurant should have informed them about my request and they could have credited my points before I had paid the restaurant directly…. If the front desk was telling me the truth that is and not trying to fub me off So if you’re a Mariott Bonvoy member and you’re not a guest of the hotel, it’s worth asking the front desk if your meal at the restaurant can be credited .

10/10What a memorable dinner for my significant other and I. Alex was the best along with the entire staff. While the food was amazing it was accompanied by a perfect location that pays attention to every small detail. This is a must try event.

+4Spectacular dinner with outstanding service, ambiance, and food that is elevated and "eatable". Items brought by the chef before dinner little works of delicious art. A radish to cleanse the palate that was such an amazing mouthful. Fantastic wine pairings from vineyards around Italy making small batches. Plan for 3+ hours to enjoy the full experience. Gracious hosts. This is a must-eat stop for food and wine lovers. Not overly fussy.
