6/10Food was meh... To be fair, I came in with higher expectations and for what they charge compared to all the other amazing trattorias in Italy...I left feeling very underwhelmed. Idylio is a Michelin tourist trap...a superficial gold digger. However, sometimes you find really amazing ones that blow you away in the Michelin hyped restaurant world. In summary, Idylio was probably the worst Michelin star restaurant that I've been to over that past 10 years.

+1The food was exceptional, the Italian dishes with the Japanese and Indian accents went extremely well together. Each dish being different was a nice way to taste the 15+ year experience of Head Chef Apredo. Wine selection was appropriate for every dish each tasting different and the non-alcoholic wine pairing was extremely well made with the beetroot and sichuan pepper „wine” being in my opinion the best. Lastly, the service was just perfect nothing more to add sadly only cash tips were allowed. Also Chef Apreda visited each guest and had a chat with them which for me and my family”s first time being there it was a night we will not forget.

+5I am from America originally and I would fly to Italy just for this meal! It was one of the best I have ever had, and I have had the pleasure of eating at every 3 Michelin star restaurant in New York City. Every bite was delectable, exciting, and new which left the palette continually thrilled. The staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and elegant. I would HIGHLY recommend you letting them pick your menu and wine, they absolutely know what they are doing. I couldn’t be more pleased with this meal and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen.

10/10This restaurant is a gem. The place is beautiful. The service is young and superb (Alex, Fabio and sommelier Patricio, bravo!). The food is a fusion of Italian and Asian flavors in perfect blend. Overall an experience to remember and a place to recommend.

5.5/10Not what we were expecting based on other reviews. Very confusing fix menu. Super expensive wine list. Service was sometimes lacking. We had to ask for water and wine many times. Unacceptable for a Michelin starred restaurant. The combination of Asian flavors with Italian food did not impressed us at all. Overall very disappointing for the money we spent.

10/10The service at Idylio was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable and discussed the nuances and background of the dishes and wines we tried. It really elevated the experience by helping us understand the Chef's thought process for the menu. The menu itself was a study in contrasts and everything superb. The chicken was the most flavorful I've ever experienced, and even the breads were creative and uniquely delicious.
