The Food were Amaizing , the service were excellent. see you next year

Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. The eel nigiri and the grilled oyster stood out. We’ll come back for sure.

Soup (miso) and ramen do not seem to be the house's best items. I was not impressed by them. The tokusen sashimi (5 pieces) and chef moriawase were great.

The food was outstanding. Each course was expertly prepared using fresh ingredients.

Their Unagui maki are excellent as well as the salmon sashimi, and the Himezen sake is so sweet and pleasant. The Sakura cheesecake is the perfect desert if you pair it with unsweetened tea.

This is a very nice spot to have Iazakata style Japanese dishes. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed and the interior space is calm. I really appreciated the eel and avocado sushi above all. A very good address for a solo dinner or a couple night out.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been in Barcelona. Amazing and lovely service and the food is into another level. Also, having the opportunity to sit in front of the chefs made the whole difference I will definitely come back!

Food wasn’t great with it being a “Japanese Izakaya”. There weren’t much grill choices and the service staff should be trained in Japanese hospitality.

Ikoya Izakaya offers an outstanding dining experience! The food is delicious, with each dish expertly prepared and bursting with authentic flavors. The service is very good friendly, attentive, and professional. However, when comparing the portion sizes to other restaurants of similar quality and menu offerings, they fall short. The portions here are noticeably smaller, especially when you consider the price point. While the quality justifies the cost, the portion not larger servings would enhance the value and align it more closely with competitors. Overall, if you’re looking for top-notch Japanese cuisine with very good service, this is the place to go—but be prepared for smaller portion and high price.

Everything (food and waiters) was good. We arrived few minutes late because we are tourists and could not find our way to the restaurant so the receptionniste gave us a bad table even if the restaurant was not busy. When we asked him to give us another table he said : I gave you this table because you were late. What a punishment!

Loved the eggplant, the octopus, the hamachi, and the razor clams. And all the deserts were unbelievable, especially the matcha soufflé!
