9/10This was our first dinner out in Rome and it didn't disappoint! The food was delicious, the wait staff were attentive and kind. We loved the Wild Boar pasta dish the most! Highly recommend!

6.5/10Food was not good. We ordered the carbonara as a starter: pasta was slightly overcooked, eggs were raw (not creamy) and bacon was completely burned. This dish is a must in Roma and if you fail it, you should really make a step back. As a main, we had an ossobuco, which was not tasty because the quality of the main products was scarse. However, the meat was cooked well. The spinach as a side, were quite untasty and the olive oil should be definitely better. The Falanghina, as vino della casa was cheap but relatively drinkable.

9.5/10The restaurant is with the large history and very good food. Tiramisu was very tasty. Carbonara was rather good. But caprese could be more tasty. The only thing that was not nice that booking via TheFork, you get 30% discount but this place give the discount for some items in the cheque what was ordered first but the discount wasn’t provided for some items which were in the bottom of the cheque. It was strange and unpleasant. Unfortunately we didn’t keep the cheque. In any case the restaurant is good, the food is very tasty and I do recommend it for tasting.

10/10It was our first night in Rome. Il Buco wasn't crowded at all. There were just two other tables occupied. It was nice and quiet, the waiter was nice, and the food was good.

9.5/10My husband had been there 40 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. They loved hearing his story and seeing his pictures. The staff has been there a long time and remembered the waiter in his pictures. The owner did also and loved having us.

Very nice small restaurant. Service was excellent. Everyone was very sympathetic and helpful. The food was very tasting, although the portion could be a little bigger for the price. I def recommend it.

10/10The service and surroundings were perfect, but even then the overall experience was enhanced hugely by the delicious Tuscan menu. We had a fantastic meal and will definitely return again! I could see why it was so busy and was glad that we had booked in advance.

Food was delicious. People who worked here was very polite and there was such a great atmosphere. This place is located in the centre but this small street is so quite and it was very nice here. Tiramisu was excellent :)

I went there with my friend who came from qatar and we love the place, we sit outside and was so nice ambiance. I ate carbonara and she ordered beef. They bring patato plate for her and lots of diffirent bread spieces. It was on very nice calm little street, there was not much car or people. The location was amazing, was close to trevi fountain and everwhere. Food came fast and hot, carbonara was very delicious. My friend loved her food too. Wasitress was very nice and came to checked if food is good and everything is fine. I would deffinetly recommend.

+2We ordered a mushroom soup, a clam pasta and wild boar. All the meals were well made and tasted wonderful. For dessert we had crunchy black cherry and Tiramisu, which was probably the best I've ever had. The service was impeccable and the environment quiet. A perfect dinner.

10/10One of the best restaurants we ate at while in Rome. The staff were friendly and attentive. It’s also nice that it’s off the main roads so we were able to enjoy a nice meal without being right next to auto traffic. A great place to talk and enjoy a wonderful meal together!

9/10Our visit didn’t get off to the best of starts: our booking was for 19:00 but the restaurant didn’t open until 19:15! But the waiter was friendly and very attentive. We had an excellent fettuccine al salsa di cinghiale to start. The pasta was perfectly al dente. My partner would have preferred the parmigiano served separately as she doesn’t like cheese, but that’s a small point. The main was saltimbocca, beautifully cooked and served with roast potatoes. Delicious! My dessert was a wonderful tiramisu served in a cocktail glass, very rich and creamy. We didn’t order vin santo and cantuccini - they were on the house. When I paid the bill and left a tip the waiter brought a top-up of vin santo! We had eaten at Il Buco many years ago and were delighted to find it as good as we had remembered. There was even one of the waiters from our previous visit still there. Highly recommended.
