8.5/10Nice restaurant with a pleasant vibe and beautiful sunset view. Not too casual and not too formal, it was just right for us. We liked it enough that we went twice during our 9-day stay in Rome. Octopus and seafood salad were 9 out of 10. The suckling pig was an 8 out of 10. The desserts were good too. Attentive staff added to our experience.

6/10We were there to celebrate Mother's Day. There was a communion in the main dining room, so I believe service was distracted to be fair. I think someone overheard a comment I made that was trying to be nice by saying they were overwhelmed with the event. After that, full attention ...the staff , waiters were wonderful, so this review is not directed at them. Lunch was a prix fixe 90 euro . It came with first & second course. The first course was unappetizing pasta of 2 choices. Neither seasoned properly and not a la dente but very much under cooked. Next up , paper thin fried veal cutlet that was so dry we needed to gulp water to get it down. The buffet was fine, many choices. I was surprised to have such dismal food served as entree with the high praise of delicious offerings I had read in countless reviews. It felt like we had the B or C team in kitchen. We are shocked, almost felt like a mistake had been made with our order. . The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed sipping Prosecco on the outside terrace in the breeze. I'd be back for a drink but hesitant to come for a meal if this is standard?

7/10It is lovely setting, beautiful view and lots of choice of food. However just to bear in mind it is very expensive, 45 euro for a buffet breakfast and they charge the same for kids (ours are 5 and 6) we thought the kids would be charged for what they ate (toast, yoghurt and fruit) but they still paid full price. It is s lovely experience but expensive.

8/10We were there before any other diners, except one table of businessmen. We notified the waiter we were in a hurry as we had a tour of the Borghese museum nearby. Unfortunately the food took a long time..My wife had ordered green tea as soon as we arrived and it was forgotten. I am not usually too fussy about service but for the high price I would have expected better. Views are incredible and there were many waitstaff available. If we were not in a hurry it wouldn't have been an issue as the views are spectacular. The portions were small, more of an art form than full meal which is to be expected in a fine dining style of restaurant. I had the seafood gnocchi which was very good, my daughter the vegetable risotto which I felt was delicious but wasn't her thing.

7.5/10Setting and location are excellent.. Food is fine, but not distinguished in any way, especially for the price point. We had several meals in Rome, Amalfi and Florence that were much better, at half the price.

10/10Probably my favorite restaurant in Rome. We just dined there again three years after our first wonderful experience dining on their rooftop terrace. Amazing views, ambience, food and service.. from the amuse bouches served in the cocktail lounge to the pastas, fish and desserts, the experience could not have been better. Advance reservations essential.

9/10This was the best meal we had in Rome without question. Lovely setting to see the city and watch the sunset. Service was average. The only negative was that the area we were in near the outside had no breeze or AC and we were sweating all through dinner.

5.5/10No dress code available on the booking - shorts not allowed for men, hotel were accommodating in helping solve the problem. Food was average vs. expectations, no pizzas were available despite showing them on the menu. Drinks were extortionate. During our time in Italy we have eaten in 2 Michelin star restaurants and 2 Michelin guide restaurants and this was the 2nd most expensive meal. It felt like the restaurant takes for granted that it is in a premium location and a premium hotel; would not recommend.

3/10The dinner was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Rome. It was however from the start a total desaster. The service was far below what you would expect for this price range. Any upperclass trainee would have done better. We were rushed through the order process and were served the starter at the same time as our aperitif. Having just finished our plates we were served the main course. We declined and asked for a decent brake. The mains came back 10’ later and were cold. No show from any waiter to ask how the food was. Food is overpriced and drinks are completely out of range. We paid for the same bottle of wine a day earlier not half the price we had to pay in Il Giardino.

10/10The service ( Antonio was our waiter) was wonderful as was the food. My only complaint is the cost of the Tito’s martini was 30Euro which is ridiculous. Wine prices were high too but we found a decent Chardonnay for 28 euro.

10/10This hotel just gained a customer. We came in for a dinner reservation after a hot day of sightseeing. We had clothes to change into for dinner and asked to use the restroom to change and refresh. They lead us to the spa and allowed us to use their facilities to prepare. Amazing! Lovely staff, food was delicious, every need anticipated. Hotel Eden is our new hotel in Rome!

8.5/10Had to change from dress shorts into jeans because apparently shorts are not “smart casual”. A bit inconsistent when there were diners there in trainers and non-collared shirts. Not a great policy anyway in a hot city in the summer. Ditch the no shorts policy

9.5/10The food and wait staff were excellent. I had some issues initially with my reservation and getting a table by the window, but the reservation specialist patiently worked with me to find a solution. The appetizers, pastas, fish, and dessert were top notch, and the view was quite pleasant by the window with a comfortable breeze enhancing the whole experience. The prices compared to other restaurants with comparable food are certainly higher (50-75% higher), but it was still worth the wonderful experience.

4/10The food was very average and salty. service was attentive, location and position of our table was unfortunate and we could not enjoy the view we had particularly asked for at the time of the booking. All in all, thank you for the service from the staff, but really disappointing dinner experience. music (dj + playback pop music accompanied intermittently by a live electric violin) was particularly of poor quality and taste.

10/10Exceptional restaurant with one of the most beautiful views on Rome, from a perfect viewpoint (Monte Pincio). The quality of the meals was excellent, and the service incredibly efficient, attentive and graceful!

10/10The service was excellent with good descriptions of the menu from our waiter and all the staff were very helpful. the food itself was some of the nicest I had eaten in Rome. The views over Rome were really stunning and I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this restaurant.
