NOT good at all! The restaurant is very beautiful in a 5 star hotel with panoramic view and Nice city light… But all the rest is terrible… I made a reservation for the birthday of a friend with 1 week advance… They called to confirm the reservation one day before… They gave us the worst table in The restaurant with no view next to The payment terminal… We asked if possible to change and they said all tables were full and that didn’t happen till we leave… We were 2 couples well dressed… I’ve traveled all around the world and been in class places and this is just pure FUGAZEE … Arrogant service, food short and nothing nothing special at all… I do better at home for sure! … Also You Will get the prices without TAX on the menu and all those hidden EXTRAS … so in the end, very easy you can get extra 100 eur. in your bill! Just for the photo!

Nice restaurant with a pleasant vibe and beautiful sunset view. Not too casual and not too formal, it was just right for us. We liked it enough that we went twice during our 9-day stay in Rome. Octopus and seafood salad were 9 out of 10. The suckling pig was an 8 out of 10. The desserts were good too. Attentive staff added to our experience.

We were there to celebrate Mother's Day. There was a communion in the main dining room, so I believe service was distracted to be fair. I think someone overheard a comment I made that was trying to be nice by saying they were overwhelmed with the event. After that, full attention ...the staff , waiters were wonderful, so this review is not directed at them. Lunch was a prix fixe 90 euro . It came with first & second course. The first course was unappetizing pasta of 2 choices. Neither seasoned properly and not a la dente but very much under cooked. Next up , paper thin fried veal cutlet that was so dry we needed to gulp water to get it down. The buffet was fine, many choices. I was surprised to have such dismal food served as entree with the high praise of delicious offerings I had read in countless reviews. It felt like we had the B or C team in kitchen. We are shocked, almost felt like a mistake had been made with our order. . The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed sipping Prosecco on the outside terrace in the breeze. I'd be back for a drink but hesitant to come for a meal if this is standard?

It is lovely setting, beautiful view and lots of choice of food. However just to bear in mind it is very expensive, 45 euro for a buffet breakfast and they charge the same for kids (ours are 5 and 6) we thought the kids would be charged for what they ate (toast, yoghurt and fruit) but they still paid full price. It is s lovely experience but expensive.

We were there before any other diners, except one table of businessmen. We notified the waiter we were in a hurry as we had a tour of the Borghese museum nearby. Unfortunately the food took a long time..My wife had ordered green tea as soon as we arrived and it was forgotten. I am not usually too fussy about service but for the high price I would have expected better. Views are incredible and there were many waitstaff available. If we were not in a hurry it wouldn't have been an issue as the views are spectacular. The portions were small, more of an art form than full meal which is to be expected in a fine dining style of restaurant. I had the seafood gnocchi which was very good, my daughter the vegetable risotto which I felt was delicious but wasn't her thing.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Rome. We just dined there again three years after our first wonderful experience dining on their rooftop terrace. Amazing views, ambience, food and service.. from the amuse bouches served in the cocktail lounge to the pastas, fish and desserts, the experience could not have been better. Advance reservations essential.

This was the best meal we had in Rome without question. Lovely setting to see the city and watch the sunset. Service was average. The only negative was that the area we were in near the outside had no breeze or AC and we were sweating all through dinner.

No dress code available on the booking - shorts not allowed for men, hotel were accommodating in helping solve the problem. Food was average vs. expectations, no pizzas were available despite showing them on the menu. Drinks were extortionate. During our time in Italy we have eaten in 2 Michelin star restaurants and 2 Michelin guide restaurants and this was the 2nd most expensive meal. It felt like the restaurant takes for granted that it is in a premium location and a premium hotel; would not recommend.

The dinner was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Rome. It was however from the start a total desaster. The service was far below what you would expect for this price range. Any upperclass trainee would have done better. We were rushed through the order process and were served the starter at the same time as our aperitif. Having just finished our plates we were served the main course. We declined and asked for a decent brake. The mains came back 10’ later and were cold. No show from any waiter to ask how the food was. Food is overpriced and drinks are completely out of range. We paid for the same bottle of wine a day earlier not half the price we had to pay in Il Giardino.

Very nice menu with reasonable good price considering the setting and the top notch service. Absolutely enjoyed our diner there tonight.
