9.5/10Salt and Pepper makes everything better!! Fantastic very local eatery, Bistecca Fiorentina with porcini mushrooms was fantastic. The meat was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and presented. It was a feast for our eyes as well as our bellies. A very good selection of regional starters and first course. The carpaccio is not to be missed but if it’s not your thing my wife had the pici Cacio e’ Pepe, and I had the Tagliatelli con ragu Cinghali. Their wine list is extensive. Prices for the steak courses are actually not bad at all. Our steak was €78 and was more than enough for the 2 of us. Service was attentive but not intrusive, and they did have an English speaking server. The owner was making the rounds and ensured that all was more than satisfactory. One more thing… and like other restaurants where desserts are money making after thoughts, not so here. A must is the filo dough and apple strudel-type, and “cream” flavored gelato. Wow!
