10/10We had the most wonderful time. The venue is spectacular. The staff was super friendly. The food was cooked to perfection. We had the grilled Seabass and it just melted in your mouth. We got there just before sunset and it was gorgeous and the view just kept getting better and better.

10/10An evening at Il Pirata is enchanting. The lovely grotto bar and tables terraced a few feet above the water create a beguiling ambience. The food and service is superlative. Truly one of my finest dining experiences!

8.5/10My daughters and I enjoyed dinner here during a week’s long stay in Praiano. The location is lovely. However, we were seated at a table that gave a direct view to the kitchen from one side and a view of a prep cart from the other side (rather than a direct view of the water). I asked to be moved to another table that overlooked the water but was informed that the manager determined seating and we weren’t able to move (yes, I made reservations weeks before our trip). My daughter’s steak was delicious but my pasta with fish was average. The desserts were yummy but overall the meal was the most expensive of our journey. The bill also indicated “service fee not included” which was the only time we received such a message. Tips are not common in Italy, so it seemed like a money grab (and yes, I always leave tips but don’t like being told to do so).

10/10Excellent restaurant located on the sunrise side of Praiano near the small port. The ambience is amazing, good great and service was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

10/10We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary here and were so impressed with EVERYTHING. The location is magical and romantic- right on the water and up against a craggy cliff- and the food was superb! One of the finest nights we’ve had- and we have had a lot of fine nights!!!

8.5/10The food and the setting is excellent, it doesn’t get any better in the area. Delicious food, amazing presentation of the dishes too. The two waiters assigned to our table - situated very far from the main area, so to speak, were very slow, non-attentive and frankly unhelpful when trying to choose a dish. They seem bothered, deigning to wait our table. Otherwise the place is lovely and I’d go back again, hoping for a better service this time.

10/10Il Pirata is a dream restaurant, nestled in the cliff side of the small marina la Praia. You can have a delicious dinner right on the water. The bar is in a cave which is super cool for drinks before or after dinner. The ambiance was the best of any restaurant I went to in Italy. Thank you!

10/10We loved this restaurant. The greeting was friendly and we chose to sit outside after finding there was a large noisy group inside. They were enjoying themselves but it was more romantic enjoying the glorious view from the terrace and a blanket was even provided in case it got cold. Food was fresh and the delicious.
