The service was incredible. The staff takes special care to ensure a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. We had the Eggplant parmigiana, Octopus, beef carpaccio, caprese salad with culatello ham and finished off with their homemade tiramisu! The ambiance was breathtaking. We sat off the rocks right next to the sea. Perfect evening.

We had the most wonderful time. The venue is spectacular. The staff was super friendly. The food was cooked to perfection. We had the grilled Seabass and it just melted in your mouth. We got there just before sunset and it was gorgeous and the view just kept getting better and better.

An evening at Il Pirata is enchanting. The lovely grotto bar and tables terraced a few feet above the water create a beguiling ambience. The food and service is superlative. Truly one of my finest dining experiences!

My daughters and I enjoyed dinner here during a week’s long stay in Praiano. The location is lovely. However, we were seated at a table that gave a direct view to the kitchen from one side and a view of a prep cart from the other side (rather than a direct view of the water). I asked to be moved to another table that overlooked the water but was informed that the manager determined seating and we weren’t able to move (yes, I made reservations weeks before our trip). My daughter’s steak was delicious but my pasta with fish was average. The desserts were yummy but overall the meal was the most expensive of our journey. The bill also indicated “service fee not included” which was the only time we received such a message. Tips are not common in Italy, so it seemed like a money grab (and yes, I always leave tips but don’t like being told to do so).
