10/10The restaurant appears rather canteen like very warm ambience and attentive service the food was absolutely delicious felt that we were having authentic rustic Tuscan food- what a treat - well worth a visit

10/10The Cookbook - A Tuscan education for dinner A little touristy? Yes, but in the best sense of learning about somewhere different. As the wonderful owner explained, Il Ricettario means The Cookbook, and the menu includes dishes from the main regions of Tuscany. A great place for children of all ages to learn deliciously.

10/10This has been one of our favorite Firenze spots. Unassuming, but very good food and really hard-working talented staff. Even their table bread has flavor! (Rare in Tuscany)

5.5/10Food was good but I had not finished the starter when the main course arrived. I am used to tell the waiter in the U.S. to give me a break between courses but did not expect that I have to do this in Italy as well. Also, there was a continuous draft since the entrance door was open and I sat only 10 feet away from the door.

10/10The food is absolutely amazing here. We ordered eggplant parm, homemade spaghetti with garlic, Olive oil and red pepper flake. So simple but so delicious. And don’t forget to order the tiramisu. The waiters were great!

Excellent, simple Tuscan cuisine, full of taste and flavour. Antonio and Giovanni made our dinner a culinary adventure in an atmosphere that felt like we were guests in their family home. Such cordiality made our dinner unforgettable.
