10/10A friend recommended from their time in Florence. Didn't look like anything special but we had wonderful, attentive service and amazing food. Was one of our favorite meals in Florence!

6/10The visit was good and the food was also good, according to the review. Unfortunately, that's all. The salad already had black streaks, the ravioli was OK, and the lasagne wasn't like the lasagne you get in Italy. The taste was OK, but still much better than in some other restaurants in Florence.

10/10The restaurant appears rather canteen like very warm ambience and attentive service the food was absolutely delicious felt that we were having authentic rustic Tuscan food- what a treat - well worth a visit

10/10The Cookbook - A Tuscan education for dinner A little touristy? Yes, but in the best sense of learning about somewhere different. As the wonderful owner explained, Il Ricettario means The Cookbook, and the menu includes dishes from the main regions of Tuscany. A great place for children of all ages to learn deliciously.

10/10This has been one of our favorite Firenze spots. Unassuming, but very good food and really hard-working talented staff. Even their table bread has flavor! (Rare in Tuscany)

5.5/10Food was good but I had not finished the starter when the main course arrived. I am used to tell the waiter in the U.S. to give me a break between courses but did not expect that I have to do this in Italy as well. Also, there was a continuous draft since the entrance door was open and I sat only 10 feet away from the door.
