10/10Our second visit and it was even better than the first. A wonderfully accommodating staff and an excellent meal. Will return for a third visit before we leave Rome - it was that good!

9.5/10Our first night in Rome and we were very tired and had the perfect meal to cap our day. The Bucatini All’amatriciana was excellent as was the Fettucine with Sausage, Squash Flowers and Sun-dried Tomatoes. The Tonorello alla Grecia was wonderful as well.

10/10The Warm welcome ,the hospitality but most of all the absolutely delicious food. What a fantastic restaurant . No need to think twice .Just book and eat here . You will not regret it . We will be back.

10/10We have eaten all over Rome and Il Ritrovo is one of our favorite places. It is not in the tourist areas but is easily accessible by bus & Metro, a short walk from San Giovanni. The atmosphere is purposely home-like, the owner couple are present and involved--one of them remembered where we sat two years ago! The menu is varied and includes wonderful fish wrapped in sliced potato dishes. Our party had all age ranges and we all loved it. The prices are very reasonable (a benefit of not being in the tourist areas) and if you book with The Fork, at 20% discount is automatically applied. They do not serve lunch but open early enough for American preferences. A top notch place that I give five stars!

10/10we did eat 2 times there as we were at the hotel Domus Sessoriana next to the restaurant... it Was very Nice and the best place to test typical italian food !!!

9.5/10We ate dinner last night at this small, family owned restaurant off the beaten path. It had high reviews and accepted a reservation for 8. It was busy, but all locals from that neighborhood. Only 1 server spoke broken English. We all had a different pasta dish that was incredible. Service was insanely good, even by American standards. We drank all the wine we could drink. Probably 10 bottles total between 8 of us. The entire bill: €20 per person. You can’t eat at Applebees for that. What a treat!

10/10We discovered this fantastic authentic Italian restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel; what a gem - delicious food, lovely ambiance, friendly staff, great value. We spent two nights in Rome, and had our evening meals here on both nights. Buzzing with locals who are so lucky to have this gem on their doorstep

10/10visiting from the UK I found Il Ritrovo to be an excellent restaurant. the food was genuinely excellent, well priced and the service genuinely excellent. we visited three times in our stay. 1 mistake was made with a meal, once this was identified the meal was replaced and a discount give excellent service. The Mario's seafood pasta was superb!

10/10We were able to reserve a table 10 minutes before we wanted to eat, service was prompt and very friendly and the food was incredible and excellent value for money. The cheesecake was the best we've ever had, we will definitely be coming back.

7.5/10The food was amazing but the service was awful. We turned up 15 minutes before our booking and asked if we could have a drink and wait. The restaurant was empty and they said no and turned us away!!! We had to ask for everything and at times we felt forgotten. A real shame.

Our dinner on Christmas eve, was literally the best experience we had in Rome. There was a fix menu with so many dishes, we could not eat them all. Everything was so tasty and the stuff was so polite. We left the restaurant with full hearts and stomaches. Definitely a must! P.s. such a great white house wine!

Best meal in our 2 week Italian vacation! Restaurant staff are excellent - providing the Perfect balance between attention and allowing us to enjoy the time together. We shared a first course of a crab fettuccine that was world class and then had a second course of encrusted turbot with thinly sliced potatoes, and a green pepper entrecôte that was perfectly grilled. The meal was so good we are intending to repeat the experience on our last night in Rome!

10/10I went to this restaurant every day for 5 days whilst in rome. 3 takeaway 2 dining in and all was amazing. Both pizza and pasta was excellent. And although I didn't speak any Italian they were amazing and very helpful.
