We ate dinner last night at this small, family owned restaurant off the beaten path. It had high reviews and accepted a reservation for 8. It was busy, but all locals from that neighborhood. Only 1 server spoke broken English. We all had a different pasta dish that was incredible. Service was insanely good, even by American standards. We drank all the wine we could drink. Probably 10 bottles total between 8 of us. The entire bill: €20 per person. You can’t eat at Applebees for that. What a treat!

We discovered this fantastic authentic Italian restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel; what a gem - delicious food, lovely ambiance, friendly staff, great value. We spent two nights in Rome, and had our evening meals here on both nights. Buzzing with locals who are so lucky to have this gem on their doorstep

visiting from the UK I found Il Ritrovo to be an excellent restaurant. the food was genuinely excellent, well priced and the service genuinely excellent. we visited three times in our stay. 1 mistake was made with a meal, once this was identified the meal was replaced and a discount give excellent service. The Mario's seafood pasta was superb!

We were able to reserve a table 10 minutes before we wanted to eat, service was prompt and very friendly and the food was incredible and excellent value for money. The cheesecake was the best we've ever had, we will definitely be coming back.
