I do not recommend this restaurant. One of the servers, who looked African, kept pushing me to order things. I didn’t want steak, but he kept insisting, and when I said I wanted a small portion, he claimed the bone alone weighs 300g so I’d have to order at least 1.1kg. He repeatedly pushed the expensive beef cuts, so in the end I decided not to order steak at all. The ragù pasta (15€) wasn’t salty and actually suited a Korean palate really well — it was incredibly delicious. If you book through TheFork, you get 30% off. They said the discount also applies to the steak, so if you were planning on having steak, you could give it a try — just don’t get pressured by their upselling. Bread and water cost 6€ (3€ per person). And honestly… why are you asking for a tip when you didn’t even do anything? Italy is not a country where tipping is expected at restaurants.

7/10So this was the second time in a week, we went back because we had such a good night the first time. The ambience here is somewhat magical, it’s just one of those places. The issue for us is that the attention to detail wasn’t there this time, stupid things wrong but which add up and are a distraction to the smooth running of the experience. There was two peppers and no salt, the steaks were requested well done and both were rare/medium rare. One had to be sent back. They bought them to the table the wrong way round. All small details but just a little irritating. The food is very good quality but a little more focus needed.

10/10We were promptly greeted and seated, with a table floor two and view of the Piazza. A glass of Prosecco arrived, complimentary. Our starter of melon and prosciutto was plentiful. The mains were gnocchi and sliced beef fillet,both with a sauce rich gorgonzola and walnuts. A glass of reserve chianti added to a memorable meal.

Food was excellent. We definitely enjoyed the Florentine Steak and ravioli. Our server, Lorenzo, was excellent as well. Would highly recommend.

10/10The location on the square is just stunning, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! The risotto which I had was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. And my friends had the canneloni which they also said was the best ever!

The food was very good. Everything we had was delicious. Not quite the gourmet that we had in Tuscany for the past month, but close. The wait staff was charming and friendly. The ambiance was lovely. We sat inside. We prefer a little quiet, but the outside dining offers the view and the lively atmosphere. The only complaint is the quick turnaround. Florence being molto touristic, we did not enjoy the relaxing meal with a bottle of wine that we are accustomed to. No sooner was the appetizer cleared and they were bringing the next course. I would say you have to order your next courses after your antipasti if you want to slow it down.

6.5/10The whole 'discount' concept is a sham. Note that there is an 'a la carte' menu - meaning that you will get an entirely different menu if you reserve through the fork. Short story is if it sounds too good to be true, then it is....

2/10Waiter tried to persuade me to buy a bottle of wine for 125 euros instead of the 75 euros for bottle of wine I wanted. They were very reluctant to change our glasses for a new bottle of wine also costing 75 euros.. The new wine was from 2019 instead of 2018 like the first bottle but you need new glasses to test the difference

5/10Server was pleasant enough. Some of the bread for the starter was stale. The risotto was not done well, and with bits of seafood shells prevalent throughout. Mussels seemingly large-shelled came out the size of your thumbnail - didn't think Italian mussels were so puny. I spoke with a fellow customer and she informed me, unbeknownst to what we ate, "not to get the risotto" - she had to vomit it up. I thought maybe she was a food snob, but - without the vomiting part - she confirmed what my wife already experienced. I think they are taking advantage of being located on the Piazza, but I think Olive Garden would have been a better choice.
