7.5/10Third time visiting the place and very happy with the food! However part of the restaurant is renovating and the heating wasn’t working at the beginning and it was very cold, so the atmosphere wasn’t the best this time.

9/10Delicious indian cuisine! Kitchen is able to meet my needss for spicy curry and with additional green chilies I can make it even hotter. Service is very friendly and already after few visits staff welcomes you as a frequent customer. The only downside is the accoustics of the dining room. It is very noisy and people are talking laudly to get heard by others at their tables. It's very difficult to conversate with your friends. But again, the food is just super!

6/10We waited 40 min to be seated even when we had a reservation. There was a huge line of people waiting to be seated, all of them with reservations as well. I heard there was a concert in the area that night but they can just accept anyone coming in if they have reservations to fulfill.

7/10Overall nice place, but took about 10 minutes to get a menu at the start and we were really hungry :( After that was resolved it was all fine - food was very tasty and we got a big glass of wine. We'll go again.

9/10The food was incredibly good. Best Indian restaurant in Amsterdam. Loved the service, people where polite and willing to help. Because it's so big the atmosphere was pretty cold. Interior was beautiful but not much life. But besides all of this. The most important thing is that the food was excellent!

9/10Our family loves Indian food so we were delighted to have this restaurant open in our neighborhood. The food is very good and the service friendly. On weekends it's best to reserve. It's becoming quite popular!

8/10Delicious Indian food, served by efficient and friendly staff. More and more Indian customers are dining there, most likely due to the authenticity of the cuisine. Each serving portion is very ample for one to two persons so care should be taken not to over-order.

9.5/10The nan bread was amazing, it tastes so authentic as did the chicken madras!!! We always order extra sauce and they always do that for us! The service was spot on! We had a great time and we will continue to come here!!!!

9/10We’ve en to Swagat several times and have enjoyed our meals there every time. The food is authentic Indian with distinctive flavors and always delicious. Service is polite and efficient and the place is always neat and tidy (including the restrooms!). The only minus (?) point maybe is that the fairly generous servings often pose a risk of overeating. ;-)

9/10Two of us had the chicken madras and the other the chicken mango. We love the nan bread, my favourite is the garlic nan. It was delicious as always and we had a very kind waitress! We will continue to come here.

5/10Food took way too long . And in the end we had asked for one of the dishes to be packed to be taken home - this was thrown away by the waiter.
