+4No wonder why this place is so highly rated! This is just on of the most amazing escape in Firenze! Wonderfull cuisine, inspired by the chef mixing the Italian roots to his own experience! We came 10 years ago and absolutely wanted to come again, and this was even better! Food is iconic, wine selection was just a unique experience... actually no words can describes... you may try it yourself! Big applause and thank you! For the record we were 2 and had: 2 starters, 2 primi, 3 main and 3 desserts as it was so good! Merci et Chapeau

10/10Little Gem , if you want to get away from the madness of the city center , then go and the guys from IO Osteria , outstanding value for money , the 2 waiters are so friendly and offer great advice for the dishes and the great wine combinations , a great atmosphere , the desserts are to die for 😋😋😋😋😋

10/10This is easily one of the most needed visits in Florence. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and we had this recommendation to dine here. We came from the city centre and walked to the restaurant on the other side of the river. It is a small restaurant, with an abumdance of character that exists in the subtly of the decor and design. We chose to experience the 5 course tasting menu and a glass of orange wine and the pecorino, with a mystery wine that was recommended based on my wife's request (super accommodating to our request). We felt encouraged, cared for, and, most importantly, extraordinarily well fed! The mushroom chawanmushi was an extreme well received dish! The other dishes that spoke to us were the pidgeon, yes pigeon, and the amberjack ceviche. We both could not recommend this place enough. Upon leaving we asked for some other city recommendations and Maeto and the staff didn't disappoint. Thank you for creating a unforgettable time for us. We will be back as soon!

The owner and waiters were attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. My wife and I had the tasting menu which was outstanding. This place is a notch above if you like an elevated dining experience at a reasonable price.

9.5/10This was our third annual visit and it never disappoints. The tasting menu was delicious, good value, and served with genuine pride and care. The small 'birthday' touch with dessert for my wife was very considerate. This is one of our favourite restaurants, and always first on our list when we visit Florence!

+2We ordered the 6 course tasting menu for 2 people. Everything was very delicious with the creativity of the dishes being a welcome change of pace from the traditional Italian dishes. We especially enjoyed the amberjack ceviche and octopus, which was cooked perfectly.

10/10The food is amazing. The possibility to chose between a 4 to 6 course menu is great with a lot of choices for each course. We would have loved to go a second time to try other things. And the ambiance is so nice, quiet, relaxed. Nothing of the touristy hype found in other places. Our best experience in Tuscany!

+13IO osteria Personale is a hidden gem. Truly michelin star worthy. Unique combination of ingredients that work so well together. can't say enough good things about this place. I plan to recommend to all my friends who visit Florence and I plan to return again. The staff was also wonderful. service was exceptional. Did I mention how delicious the food was?
