10/10The food is amazing. The possibility to chose between a 4 to 6 course menu is great with a lot of choices for each course. We would have loved to go a second time to try other things. And the ambiance is so nice, quiet, relaxed. Nothing of the touristy hype found in other places. Our best experience in Tuscany!

10/10+13IO osteria Personale is a hidden gem. Truly michelin star worthy. Unique combination of ingredients that work so well together. can't say enough good things about this place. I plan to recommend to all my friends who visit Florence and I plan to return again. The staff was also wonderful. service was exceptional. Did I mention how delicious the food was?

9/10While the service was impeccable and most of the dishes were phenomenal, the risotto was barely average. We love this place and have been multiple times. Perhaps just an off night for the chef?

9.5/10Food was fantastic - creative, tasted and looked beautiful and reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients and care put into their cooking. Staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and comprehensive drinks menu. Would recommend to anyone that loves great food, will definitely be coming back next time we are in Florence.

10/10IO is incredible value. Amazing food, amazing value, axing service. The sweetbreads and pigeon stood out to us. We received two wonderful wine recommendations - an alto red, which was beautiful, and a Sicilian dessert wine, which perfectly balanced the saltiness of the cheese course. We love this restaurant and would recommend to anyone.

10/10Nouvelle cuisine based on traditional Tuscan specialties, new flavors mixed in, but with harmony and respect. We did enjoy a perfect dinner for two, the pigeon was the best I had in decades in Tuscany, the service was very attentive and supporting, offering a really great red wine from the Maremma we did enjoy very much. Prices are moderate considering the quality of the food. Its a small restaurant, so you have to book in advance, but believe me, it makes more sense to enjoy a really good meal there than in the countless tourist traps you find all over Florence, and as I said, the prices ate more than adequate for what you get - and thats not the case in mist Florentine restaurants. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening!

6.5/10The place is cozy with a great look out into a tree lined view (E side of restaurant) of the Torrino Santa Rosa. Well appointed, the silverware were likely the best I’ve seen, but that’s not saying much when it comes to the food. A Michelin star rated restaurant for 6 years in a row. HOW? While the wine was great, at least the orange, which I’ve never had before, the food was beyond subpar.. I selected the 4 course tasting menu. Started with the eggplant, and while it was nicely cooked, the lemon and flavorings barely presented. The almond sauce was nice, but again, little flavor. From there I had the risotto, nicely presented, and a nice flavor, but not beyond what I can prepare in my own kitchen..risotto is intended to be served aldente, but they were a touch below that mark and it crunched in my mouth. Hmmmm. Than the game hen for my entree. It was SO overcooked. They do a pre prep on it, and given it took an hour to get to the table (perfectly timed) they could have cooked it on order. It’s a tiny bird. But it was desperately over cooked. The charred greens were nice.. finishing with the popped corn gelato with chocolate and toffee, it was smooth on the palette and the only thing I woudo say rose to the occasion of Michelin star.. this is a more casual little restaurant, well priced and I wasn’t nearly expecting top tier with regard to ambiance and service, Michelin speaks to the food and I wasn’t thrilled.
