10/10Excellent food and services! Both the Japanese and Korean food are amazing, fresh and authentic! If you are a fan of the Mizayaki movie Spirted Away you will love the decoration. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Madrid!

10/10The sushi and sashimi offerings at Izakaya Han are also a highlight. The sushi chefs demonstrate impeccable skill and precision as they create beautifully presented rolls and nigiri. The fish is incredibly fresh, with a buttery texture that melts in your mouth. I particularly enjoyed the Chef's Selection Sashimi Platter, which allowed me to experience a variety of delicate flavors from the sea. The service at Izakaya Han is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with any inquiries or recommendations. They are passionate about the food they serve and are more than happy to share their expertise, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

9.5/10We did not know what to expect, as we eat sushi a lot and tried really a lot of places in europe . I can honestly say that the quality of makis and nigiris and the way they are prepared is on very high level, Toro nigiri is the best we ate ever. Tempura we tried is not far behind.

9.5/10I've been looking for authentic Japanese as I am a traditionalist when it comes to my sushi (read: No fusion please). I really like Izakaya Han as it reminds me of the simple, but honestly good tiny sushi restaurants in Japan. After living in Japan for 7 years, I look for the top quality sushi. The presentation, the quality and the service were excellent. The presentation and quality of my sashimi and sushi were wonderful. The service was friendly, highly efficient, quick and attentive. I will go back again due to the fact that the place is simple, highly affordable for the quality of food!

10/10Third time visiting and will definitely be back! For us it’s the best sushi in Madrid! Nigiri are the perfect size and the fish and rice temperature is spot on! Gyoza are amazing especially the dipping sauce. Waitress was also lovely.

9.5/10Izakaya Han is a family run korean-japanes Restaurant with a continued excellent quality of food and service in a very authentic atmosphere - feels like in a place in Tokyo or Seoul. Far from the more pretentious asian restaurant that are much more expensive Izakaya Han does compete with the food quality.

10/10We have been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints. Family run restaurant, small, and v personal service. Comprehensive menu - mix of Japanese and Korean dishes. (Kimchi is v good). Sushi/sashimi is v fresh and good quality.

10/10The restaurant is beautiful and has clean lines throughout. We were placed at a nice spacious table. We placed our order and it was received in a quick an efficient manner. Everything was delicious and well presented. We had several different types of sushi and sashimi. My dinner guest also had bulgogi. For dessert we had green tea ice cream. This isn't my first visit nor will be my last. I love the place. And don't forget to see the toilets in the basement. Manga at its best

8.5/10It is nice spot in chueca with nice Japanese food. The sashimi was really good. It also offers a few Korean dishes and I have one that I really liked: a spicy octopus (don't remember the name)

10/10It was a busy Friday lunch, the restaurant was packed with customers. Lunch menu was simple and the service was attentive. I had the Korean bento box, the portion was right. Really enjoyed it.

10/10Pleasant surprise to find this place, the girl taking care of us went above and beyond. The food was amazing and all the fish was really fresh!A high praise goes for the Toro Nigiri...Omg, it just melts in your mouth. Chef Han really knows what he is doing and i highly recommend. Overall had a great time there. I think its really good value for money, but i do believe its not for every pocket. However they have lunch menus at really affordable prices!:)

8/10Very relaxed atmosphere and nice deco (with Manga/Japanese paintings on some of the walls), good value menu del día with a taste of everything balanced in quantity and quality: Miso soup, tempura, sushi, meat dish and dessert. Went with my family and had a lovely time. Would recommend and definitely go back.
