The food in general was pretty good, portions size were fine as well. Soondubu had a good taste but was a bit too oily - would have been nice if it was less oily. Hotteok was delicious but would have been better if bigger as it was pricey for the portion size. Ambience was nice and servers were good.

it is nothing extravagant or full of marketing schemes, tricks… just plain GOOD FOOD. the service was over the top from the moment we came in. the food excellent and very diverse! the experience was unforgettable. well be back for sure!

Food was really good. I had miso soup and unagi don. Amazing. The atmosphere was really relaxing and beautifully designed. The staff was really accommodating and helpful.

Excellent food and services! Both the Japanese and Korean food are amazing, fresh and authentic! If you are a fan of the Mizayaki movie Spirted Away you will love the decoration. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Madrid!

Excellent, fresh sushi as always. Also at a good temperature. The gyoza sauce is amazing, reminds us of Japan a lot. We will return again.

Great service. Excellent tempura. Salmon maki was good. Avoid the sashimi order. Fluke and tuna pieces were chewy.

The sushi and sashimi offerings at Izakaya Han are also a highlight. The sushi chefs demonstrate impeccable skill and precision as they create beautifully presented rolls and nigiri. The fish is incredibly fresh, with a buttery texture that melts in your mouth. I particularly enjoyed the Chef's Selection Sashimi Platter, which allowed me to experience a variety of delicate flavors from the sea. The service at Izakaya Han is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with any inquiries or recommendations. They are passionate about the food they serve and are more than happy to share their expertise, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

The food was delicious, and the staff were nice. However, It was a bit cold inside and while we were enjoying the food, the restaurant started to smell very funny.

Small, unpretentious, low-key Japanese/Korean restaurant in our neighbourhood with excellent freshly made food. The seared tunafish was out of this world.

We did not know what to expect, as we eat sushi a lot and tried really a lot of places in europe . I can honestly say that the quality of makis and nigiris and the way they are prepared is on very high level, Toro nigiri is the best we ate ever. Tempura we tried is not far behind.

As always the food was excellent. Service did not have her best day this time, but still very friendly. Restaurant was quite full which might have been the reason. For me its the best japanese-korean eatery in this area.

I've been looking for authentic Japanese as I am a traditionalist when it comes to my sushi (read: No fusion please). I really like Izakaya Han as it reminds me of the simple, but honestly good tiny sushi restaurants in Japan. After living in Japan for 7 years, I look for the top quality sushi. The presentation, the quality and the service were excellent. The presentation and quality of my sashimi and sushi were wonderful. The service was friendly, highly efficient, quick and attentive. I will go back again due to the fact that the place is simple, highly affordable for the quality of food!
