10/10Amazing service. We went as a couple new Year Eve and we were amazed by the quality of the products and the service. Our waitress spoke English and everything was perfectly done and explained. I have tasted a lot of sushi places in Barcelone and this one easily the best.

10/10Amazing sushi! The tasting menu was fabulous, so good we ordered extra of two of the dishes. Coming from the states, we don’t always find great sushi, but this was one of the best sushi experiences we’ve ever had!

10/10The whole staff at Jara are one family wanting to share their love and knowledge for what they do. Jonathan and Robby were so nice and accommodating. This is a meal my fiancé and I will be talking about for our lifetime.

10/10What an over the top amazing/perfect sushi dinner at Jara! Decor and ambiance is great, small and simple. The quality of the fish is top notch. Traditional sashimi and nigiri is so delicious and the more advanced flavors of their special nigiri took us on a flavor journey. Highly recommend! Haven’t had sushi like that in years. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and chefs as well. Beyond welcoming and nice. Really 100/10!

10/10I lived in Barcelona for three months 7 years ago and it is a culinary mecca… I came back with my partner to visit for a few days and we came here for dinner 2/3 nights. We are huge sushi fans and this was the best sushi I have ever had. Jonathon, the chef, works right in front of you with such precision, efficiency, and passion. Truly a thing of beauty to be in the presence of someone that is so talented at their craft, and with years of experience to back him. Not to mention the incredible taste. We will recommend this place to everyone that visits Barcelona, and we will definitely be back!

10/10+8The sushi was amazing The chef is very focus on detail I didn’t expecting was so good like that but it’s the most amazing sushi out side of Japan 👍 My son was very happy too doesn’t stop saying very good and he’s so happy cause we use to dine at sushi resto with classic Japanese music … but at JARA wasn’t that classic the music hip hop and very good sushi it’s very harmonie together Congratulations for 3 brother 👍we will be back

10/10Personable dining experience with two brothers from Chile who know a lot about Japanese sushi cuisine. Delicious o-toro and salmon belly with a few tweaks on classic omakase (and at 80 euro per person a steal!). Their love for 90’s hip hop is also an interesting twist as the playlist evolves. A memorable meal and definitely would recommend

10/10We came here for our last meal in Barcelona. It was a great switch up from tapas and other traditional dishes that we have been eating. The fish was extremely fresh and would highly recommend!

7.5/10+1Sushi is good. Rice is bit undercooked to my liking but it is alright. Yet there are no restaurant type sitting available. It is like a take away shop. It can seat 3 people on the side wall, 2 people on the sushi bar and 4 people on the single table. Due to unsatisfying ambience, i would not go again but food is great.

10/10Lovely restaurant headed by two brothers who clearly love what they are doing. The fish was displayed to us before our meal and the chef answered our questions about the origin of the product. We had omakase which was a combination of sushi and rolls. I don’t have a huge appetite so for me there were a few too many rolls, but everything was fresh, delicious and creative. Fun atmosphere and highly recommend. 🍣
