10/10This was an amazing lunch during our day spent in Ortigia. The staff was kind and friendly. Our waiter recommended a wonderful white wine to go with our lunch. My husband and I shared the fish of the day caponata which was delicious! I had the seafood linguine which was amazing with clams mussels shrimp and calamari. He had the pistachio pesto pasta which was excellent. The seafood linguine sauce was incredible and one of the best dishes I have had in Sicily. We also shared the grilled octopus which was a great dish. I would highly recommend this restaurant!! All dishes were local and authentic.

10/10Absolutely delicious warm starter of octopus with tomatoes, capers, olives then a superb dish of roasted sea bass with toasted almonds and pesto. Great wine too and very welcoming people, thank you!

4/10Disappointing experience. Our food order seemed to get lost but waiting staff didn’t notice. They apologised but just didn’t make for much of an evening. Guess we were just unlucky. Good seemed average.

10/10Wonderful little restaurant, away from the crowds. Fantastic and welcoming staff, really attentive. Brought our dishes out at the same time, all incredibly tasty and delicious good portion sizes. We had sea bass, pasta alla norma, squid, lemon salad (delicious) and generous mussel soup. Prices are very reasonable too. We have kids with sensitive skin and prone to insect bites (whom we usually spray with repellent before heading out). However, we forgot to spray them and when asked, the waitress even gave us repellent to use whilst sitting there! Such a lovely, thoughtful touch. Really recommend this place.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Joni last night. The food was delicious, and the staff were very thoughtful and attentive. We had requested a table by the window and were given the best table in the restaurant! The food was excellent especially the broken cannolo. A slightly different take on the traditional Sicilian cannolo but equally fabulous. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for good food, wine and service!

10/10Excellent food, we shared two dishes and it was no trouble to do this. It was very hot the day we ate here but there was a great breezy blowing which made outdoor eating perfect. Friendly staff who advised you and didnt rush.

3.5/10No recognition of booking made when I said I had made a reservation. When compared to the choices on offer here in ortigia I decided to go somewhere else. I was looking for a restaurant with local food rather than hamburgers.

10/10Great, friendly and efficient staff that proveedor that provide an amazing service. Incredible Sicilian dishes with quality and tasty food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant at Ortigia. I will come back if I have the chance. No doubt!

10/10A lovely little family restaurant with an interesting menu especially for fish lovers. We had octopus, sword fish, seafood pasta and grilled vegetables and it was all delicious especially the unusual octopus. The wine list was well priced and we enjoyed good service and a pleasant evening.

9.5/10We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. While it was very welcoming by the friendly waiter, it was the quality of the dishes that really made the dinner great. We really appreciated the quality and effort put into the dishes making it great value for money. We hope to return soon.
