10/10Everything! The food was delicious, locally sourced and beautifully presented. Our waiter was delightful and the service was impeccable. The Fina Hanami rosé and the Pietradolce Etna Rosso wines chosen by the sommelier paired delightfully with our first and second courses. And even though we were full after our primi and secondi, we still couldn’t resist dessert.

We visited here for our honeymoon. I confirmed that it was a Michelin guide through an app called The fork and visited with great expectation. We paid 290 euros for 2 people (200 euros for food, 75 euros for champagne, I don't know the other 15 euros). Among the raw fish, the squid was definitely in bad condition. Other than that, the food was delicious. The worst of the worst was the service itself. The server was delivering food, spilling food on my body, and cleaning up the spilled food without saying sorry, it was just an accident. Understand. Also I ordered an 85 euro Donafugata brut here. I didn't know at first, so I just received it, took a picture, and checked it, and when I asked why it had changed, I was just saying that it was better without saying sorry. We ordered the wine because we wanted to eat it, but we couldn't be mad because we were on our honeymoon, so we just passed it with understanding. We waste 290 euro in here.

Our staff is always very kind and attentive to every guests’ need and we think that it should have been a clear misunderstanding about the Wine and the server that delivered you the food. Despite this, we know that you appreciated our menu. So said, we are so sorry if you felt disappointed, but we can reassure you that we do our best, every day, to deliver the best service and the best food for our guests. If something goes wrong we apoligize; however in this case we are sure that is has been a true misunderstanding. 4/10Not at the standard which they think they are. It is different to the other restaurants in the town, but if you expand your perspective to the rest of the world, outside Taormina, it is absolutely not a top tier dinning experience. The wrong cutlery was placed on the table for the food being served. The timing of the wine pairing was completely out of sync with the food. The wine glasses had water stains. The food was nice, especially compared with the rest of Taormina; but the overall experience, considering the environment and the service, was not good.

Dear Mr Haywood, let us first apologize if your experience did not attend your expectations. Let us point out that we do not think to be special or better than other colleagues, we simply do our best to welcome our guests in a refined ambience, not crowded, relaxed and with a good food and service. It is highly rare that our waiters can be wrong with the cutlery and it is rare to have water stains in our glasses, as we use a highly professional glass washer which avoids any problems with it. I will for sure investigate about the wine service, but I'm sure that it is not our standards to fail the sync with food. We are generally recommended from guests from all over the world,so that is really rare to experience such problems in our restaurant. However, again, we do not feel to be perfect but, for sure, we are hospitable and very attentive to our guests' needs and expectations. PS. I personally experience restaurants all over the world, so I perfectly know what's an international food experience.

Kiste Easy Gourmet is first class. We had one of the best meals in Sicily. The food was excellent, the wine pairing was perfect, the patio setting was beautiful and the service couldn’t have been better. You can’t miss this place!

10/10By far our best meal in Taormina! We went there twice after a few disappointments/tourist traps in town! Food is cooked to perfection, service is outstanding and the outdoor patio is an oasis in the middle of this busy town. Thank you Kiste Team!

6/10For a beautiful restaurant, service was mediocre at best. When we arrived we couldn’t find anyone to seat us. It then took way too long to be greeted with menus and drinks. We have a gluten allergy in our party and ordered gluten free pasta. It was served undercooked and hard. They then came back with overcooked pasta. The service just really fell flat for the level of restaurant this claims to be. Highlights: The wine was great. The atmosphere was stunning.

As you know, our restaurant has two entrances: as you were late, you and your friend decided to check separetely on the two entrances. I personally greeted you at the entrance of the garden and you went to call back your friend.When our guests are seated, we ask for water and we bring menus. We took your order after 10 minutes, after having satisfied your questions about celiac options. Then, please be aware that we serve gluten free pasta at the perfect time of Cooking. When we served you pasta, you did not even taste and ask our waiter to cook it again as you don’t like al dente pasta. We did it for you, but we are sure that you perfectly know that when you cook gluten free e pasta over the time, it tends to overcook very fast. +8Lovely courtyard setting. In great part of toarmina. Very good lighting. Glass and crockery was amazing. Service friendly and professional. Only one error with my daughters allergy but corrected. Recommend the tasting menu with matching wines, excellent. Deserves a Michelin star. Should renovate bathroom area to be as classy as rest of restaurant.

8.5/10The restaurant is somewhat underwhelming for the expectations associated with a Micheline star and the price. It is OK but nothing special. The crudo appetizer was the best, while the main course fish was too dry and of the quality of regular street diner.

8/10Beautiful spot just off the main drag. Very nice people, service, decor. The food was hit and miss and either way the portion way too small for the price charged and the rather uninspired flavor. The lamb chops were the worst. 40euros for two tiny over cooked chops, a small scoop of potatoes mashed and two tiny veggies in a brown bland sauce. The fish of the day was tasty but so tiny. The app of various fish was the winner of the bunch. Nicely presented, interesting plate and presentation and amounts.

5.5/10If this review was solely based on the taste of the food it would be a 2; however, the service and food presentation were incredible, so I added another star. My family and I did the 8 course tasting menu and the food was underwhelming to say the least. The chef kept a consistent theme and flavor for each dish, which would have been fine if the execution of the flavors was done well, but unfortunately it was the exact opposite. The first course should tantalize your tastebuds leaving you anxiously desiring the next course; unfortunately, each preceding course continued to disappoint leaving us only anxiously waiting for the check so we could pay the bill and go home I would avoid this restaurant if possible.

10/10Fabulous set menu, all fish, and so tried food we wouldn’t normally have. However The red mullet was wrapped in bacon. This was my favourite dish. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and a lovely outside seating. Highly recommend, great value.

9/10Atmosphere and service were great. We did the tasting menu and wine pairings. The first few courses were excellent — really fresh and unique. Perhaps they raised our expectations too high — the main course was just okay. Not bad, but just a bit boring. The grouper was perhaps steamed? Not much flavor. And the sauces didn’t do much to help. I would go back and order certain dishes, but would avoid the generic fish entree.

10/10Our family had a delicious meal, celebrating a special birthday, and everything lived up to our expectations. The service was impeccable without being pretentious and the garden was a beautiful place to enjoy such a delicious meal. Some of us had the tasting menu and others had dishes a la carte, and the timing of the dishes was perfect so that we could all enjoy our food at a perfect pace. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone for a wonderful experience

10/10Wow! This was the best food we have eaten in quite some time! The €45 lunch deal was incredibly good value with plenty of food, wine and water. There was a choice of dishes and they were all delicious! The service was friendly and attentive, can’t recommend highly enough! Thank you, you made our stay in Taormina!

9.5/10This is the more casual sister of the excellent La Capinera and I must say the food was better at Kiste! The raw fish and the filets are magical. The only thing that could be better - there were longer pauses between the meals. Other than that the service was great - very courteous and helpful.
