+5The food was fantastic and experience great minus 2 things. We do not eat beef and noted this on the reservation and when we arrived at the restaurant. The pasta dish was served with a beef jus despite the dietary restrictions mentioned. We were also hoping for a tour of the garden as the culinary tasting we selected through fork described this. Otherwise food was well presented and very good. Wine pairing was great as well.

Delicious oysters, ravioli with fois gras, pear, and beef sauce, and bread, although everything was superb. Beautiful setting and informed and attentive staff.

We ordered the experience+. Loved the food. Each course was a pleasant surprise with excellent flavors and textures. The service and ambiance were also excellent. Pre dessert and post dessert were also great but we did not love dessert itself. The flavors did not work well for us..

+2A marvellous experience in an enchanting (and enchanted) garden: Kitchen’s hortus conclusus, where I fully enjoyed a very creative savory tasting menu. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the staff are really perfect: very attentionate without ever being intrusive. I do recommend!

I am very hard to impress. This was the first place since Sezanne in Tokyo over a year ago that truly impressed me. Everything was perfect and the cost was an incredible value. Food was so amazing I devoured everything and portions were so large that I didn’t dare look at a dessert menu. This is when I wish there was a sixth star.

What a marvelous lunch our family of 4 had to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary! The food was amazing, the staff provided the warmest welcome and care throughout the meal and the chef and sous-chef gave us the most memorable goodbye that we appreciate deeply. Thank YOU!

This restaurant has top food and although we had the expiriance menus the restaurant was very flexible with adjusting the menus to people requests and tasts. This gem location apparently was not familiar to many locals even - worth a visit and a reasonable price for a sttared Michlin restaurant

Absolutely incredible meal. Service actually felt a bit rushed at first but was still good. One waiter was a little miserable but the rest of the staff were lovely.

I’m sure everyone talks about how amazing the food was (which it is and was!) but I want to emphasize how incredible the wine pairings were by our sommelier (Marco). He did an incredible job, complimenting each dish to a level that was beyond expectations with every dish. We loved him and the entire staff that served us this evening. It was our best dining experience to date. Grazie mille!

4 of the 5 chef's taster dishes were not Michelin-worthy, and only 2 of the 5 paired wines were worth a cheers. Staff and ambiance was at expected level. Overall significantly overpriced for the culinary experience. No 'magic' in the food, and unimpressive wine pairings.

I liked the food, especially the pigeon breast. There was an attention from the staff regarding my birthday, but not in general. However the food in the experience plus menu, was not something wow or unbelievable, as I expected from Michelin star restaurant. It was simply good. I missed the choice of breads as well.

Overall not a one star experience. We were served various kinds of bread with Sicilian extra verging oil and salted butter from Normandy – excellent! I then had raw red prawn as appetizer which was good, albeit minuscule. My husband had the chicken terrine with figs and raspberries – excellent again and perhaps the only dish this evening worth a Michelin Star. We both had bbq’d lobster as main dish, which was slightly overdone, with rather bland celery samosas and little carved pears as decoration plus a very ordinary hollandaise that didn’t really match with the lobster sauce. As to their policy they seem to be nudging diners to choose among one of their menus since a la carte portions are the same size as those from the menu. Therefore if you eat a la carte, I would recommend to have at least two starters followed by a primo and a secondo. And a last point: The rather young sommelier should perhaps ask what diners are going to eat before advising them.

Beautiful weather helped but wine pairings with the 7 course meal was spot on! Food was exactly as described, flavorful and delicious. Terrific Saturday lunch experience!

+2Great ambience in a beautiful garden in Tavernola, 10 minutes from Como city centre (8 minutes with the ferry). The service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They never felt pushy when it cone to upsetting certain products, dishes or wine. Standout dishes were the "Scallop courgette & yuzu" starter and the "Cod tripe and caviar spagettone". It was my girlfriend's birthday so we were very happy with the last desert selection and the candles. Only criticism: Mosquitoes. It might be the season (August) and the flowers / garden doesn't help but I wish there was a solution to that.

We had the most wonderful experience at Kitchen in March 2022. Sadly, this time the experience was beyond disappointing. We got the worst table in the restaurant, our request to change table was not accepted even though the restaurant was not full, Wine pairing was below average quality, Hot courses were cold. Staff was poorly trained. Michelin star not deserving.

Great location and setting. Food was great but the options were highly limited specially for vegetarians (even though looking at website of previous menus there seemed to be more options). Staff were very friendly.

+1The 7 course tasting and pairing was incredible. The setting was also incredible. Such a great experience! We probably over stayed our welcome, but Chef Andrea came out and talked with us at the end and it was a wonderful experience. If you are ever in or near Lake Como make sure to make a reservation at Kitchen and experience the best food around!

The food was very good, the service was fine but we were made to feel like low priority people due to the fact we didn't book months in advance. we enjoyed it despite the slightly superior attitude shown to us.

Definitely worth a stop when visiting the lake Como region… But it is definitely a Michelin Food experience… Small little bites …most dishes with incredible flavor and some …beyond my palate.

+4Phenomenal lunch. We couldn’t stay for the full experience due to our schedule but they gave us the most incredible experience, including graciously expediting the bill in a way that felt so seemless—hugely valuable when you’re trying to make it to a wedding ;) The food was honestly the best we had our entire trip, as was the service. The atmosphere was dreamy and comfortable even on a rainy day. I would absolutely recommend making time for this. The whole bill for two, which included two courses and two glasses of truly incredible (and well recommended) wine each (so four plates, countless little chef gifts/treats, and four glasses) was under 225 euros. I wish we had time to have had the full tasting menu. Next time! A fantastic Michelin star-worthy lunch without any feeling of pomposity or formality—it was approachable and still flawless, with a menu that anyone can enjoy. Make time for it, even if you only have a small window- just let them know you’ve got to be quick. I’ll be asking our local wine shop to special order the wine I had there, and I’ll be dreaming of the food for quite a bit.

This restaurant was a gem ! One of the best food experiences I have ever tried . The concept and the produce was immaculate but the service was even better ! I loved the small details and it was truly unique . The team went out of their way to make a special cake for my husbands birthday which by the way was delicious and brought back memories from cakes we had tasted in our childhoods in weddings . Amazing effort and results!! Thank you ☺️

What an outstanding dining experience. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings and they catered the wine pairings to my preference for red wines.

The Experience tasting menu was one of the best gourmet dinners we had. The service was very quick and attentive. The venue is very spacious, and we got a cozy table with garden view. An amazing experience overall.
