9.5/10Excellent place for a Japanese dinner with family or friends. We served quite a few of the items from their menu and all were very tasty and fresh. The premises are pretty basic, thus don't expect a grand entrance, or eclectic decorations. This is the place for great food, thus expect exquisite cuisine!

8.5/10Really enjoyed the sushi and atmosphere. 30% deal wasn't available although the lunchtime set menu was. Only annoying thing was the waitress mixed the tuna tarte before we even had chance to see it with its egg yolk - wouldnt order that again but the sushi rolls were all great portion sizes and particularly enjoyed the tempura fried sushi

The restaurant is very cleanly styled. The tables are well spaced in the three seating areas. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The fusion selections were delicious and the service was wel paced. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will revisit when we are next in Alicante.

10/10This was our first visit to Kodama and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was relaxed and efficient, the ambience was classy and calm and the food consistently delicious! It's a little out of the centre but definitely worth seeking out

3/10Was not happy with service. Lady couldn't speak English and didn't even understand what chilli is. Sushi is fine but the noodles came out over cooked chicken and prawns. Hostess was huffing when I asked her for spice and wasn't very nice.

10/10Absolutely incredible. Easy to find, great service and amazing food. We all love sushi, and this is the best place I have been to here in Alicante. The staff were super friendly and had the time to speak with us about their product. Loved it.

Sushi at this place is affordable and good. They have some special "fusion sushi" that you rather love or hate. Never the less the presentation and taste are absolutely fine. They also served a complementary shot of your likings.

9.5/10Superb food all around. We got a combo, 2 orders of nigiri, and another roll. The gyozas in the combo were spectacular - perfect blend of textures and flavors in the filling. The sauce was also classic. I would've liked it to be a tad crispier, but that's my only complaint. All the rolls were fantastic. The most important thing to look for in sushi is the rice, and it was immaculate. It was cooked to the right point, with the right amount of vinegar mixed in. Not too mushy, not too hard. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and each bite was a burst of flavor and texture. The combo we ordered did have 2 fried rolls, and I would've preferred less of that - but that's on us. The nigiri were very well made and had balanced flavors. We would absolutely come back!

9.5/10Great food, good size servings. Staff very friendly. Service a bit slow but didn't mind as everything was good. Acoustics a little too good, it can get a bit noisy, but again, not a big thing. Will definitely recommend.

Super yummy and fresh sushi!! Glad I found it somehow it did not come up in Google when I searched “sushi” but only when I searched “Japanese”. Will definitely be back!
