Spectacular Food, ambiance and absolutely super service, by far the best Japanese restaurant in Alicante (and I have tried them all over the last 10 years). Highly recommended! Nigiri’s, Rolls, Miso Soup, Udon, Neotradi, Gunkan, all fresh and delicious, 10 points!

The waitress tried to scamm us giving a bill from another table which was double of what we had to pay. When I faced them about it they were not even sorry of what happend. Shame.

Some of the best sushi anywhere! This is a truly wonderful spot for either a quick (by Spain standards) bite with a beer and some starters, or a delightful foray into fusion sushi with just the right amount of Spanish influence. Just watch out, you will almost certainly order too much food because everything looks so good. Remember, the QR code menu goes on for a while. During my first visit I did not realize there was a lot more to the menu after I saw the sushi roll section. Do yourself a favor and scroll all the way down. It's a great place, in a great neighborhood a bit away from the tourist area. Good selection of wines that complement the great food. You might want to make a reservation. While the place is not small, it fills up fast at night. Don't forget to check out the origami hanging from the ceiling, it is really fun. Enjoy! JT

+4Everything superb as usual, we come to Kodama quiet often, it is an absolute 10, in every aspect. Excellent dishes, very fresh products, fish, seafood, great appetizers, delicious desserts, Yolanda it’s a very experienced waitress and manager with amazing recommendations, offering high vip service during the entire experience, by far the best sushi in Alicante and we have been to many restaurants here over the last 11 yrs. Kodama a true gem when looking for a real Japanese experience!!

The service was good. After our first visit a few months ago, I was hoping for the same level of the quality of food. Unfortunately, the gyozas that I ordered were just warm and did not seem fresh. The sushi, also, tasted a little off. I am really pulling for Kodama, especially due to our first experience, but, I will not be returning for awhile..

Cristian was amazing and his colleague too. Pity we couldn't avail of the The Fork offer as they have limited places but it was worth it as the food was amazing.

Excellent place for a Japanese dinner with family or friends. We served quite a few of the items from their menu and all were very tasty and fresh. The premises are pretty basic, thus don't expect a grand entrance, or eclectic decorations. This is the place for great food, thus expect exquisite cuisine!

Really enjoyed the sushi and atmosphere. 30% deal wasn't available although the lunchtime set menu was. Only annoying thing was the waitress mixed the tuna tarte before we even had chance to see it with its egg yolk - wouldnt order that again but the sushi rolls were all great portion sizes and particularly enjoyed the tempura fried sushi

The restaurant is very cleanly styled. The tables are well spaced in the three seating areas. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The fusion selections were delicious and the service was wel paced. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will revisit when we are next in Alicante.

This was our first visit to Kodama and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was relaxed and efficient, the ambience was classy and calm and the food consistently delicious! It's a little out of the centre but definitely worth seeking out

Absolutely incredible. Easy to find, great service and amazing food. We all love sushi, and this is the best place I have been to here in Alicante. The staff were super friendly and had the time to speak with us about their product. Loved it.

Sushi at this place is affordable and good. They have some special "fusion sushi" that you rather love or hate. Never the less the presentation and taste are absolutely fine. They also served a complementary shot of your likings.

The Fork removed the discount when I changed times without notifying me, which led to a very embarrassing situation. Would not have booked without a discount as it was otherwise overpriced for the quality provided.

Superb food all around. We got a combo, 2 orders of nigiri, and another roll. The gyozas in the combo were spectacular - perfect blend of textures and flavors in the filling. The sauce was also classic. I would've liked it to be a tad crispier, but that's my only complaint. All the rolls were fantastic. The most important thing to look for in sushi is the rice, and it was immaculate. It was cooked to the right point, with the right amount of vinegar mixed in. Not too mushy, not too hard. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and each bite was a burst of flavor and texture. The combo we ordered did have 2 fried rolls, and I would've preferred less of that - but that's on us. The nigiri were very well made and had balanced flavors. We would absolutely come back!

The Fork Forked up and didn't provide the promised 30% off they advertised (see foto below). What a disappointment and such a sad end to a nice meal. Fork muy mal :(
