10/10Some of the best sushi anywhere! This is a truly wonderful spot for either a quick (by Spain standards) bite with a beer and some starters, or a delightful foray into fusion sushi with just the right amount of Spanish influence. Just watch out, you will almost certainly order too much food because everything looks so good. Remember, the QR code menu goes on for a while. During my first visit I did not realize there was a lot more to the menu after I saw the sushi roll section. Do yourself a favor and scroll all the way down. It's a great place, in a great neighborhood a bit away from the tourist area. Good selection of wines that complement the great food. You might want to make a reservation. While the place is not small, it fills up fast at night. Don't forget to check out the origami hanging from the ceiling, it is really fun. Enjoy! JT

+4Everything superb as usual, we come to Kodama quiet often, it is an absolute 10, in every aspect. Excellent dishes, very fresh products, fish, seafood, great appetizers, delicious desserts, Yolanda it’s a very experienced waitress and manager with amazing recommendations, offering high vip service during the entire experience, by far the best sushi in Alicante and we have been to many restaurants here over the last 11 yrs. Kodama a true gem when looking for a real Japanese experience!!

7.5/10The service was good. After our first visit a few months ago, I was hoping for the same level of the quality of food. Unfortunately, the gyozas that I ordered were just warm and did not seem fresh. The sushi, also, tasted a little off. I am really pulling for Kodama, especially due to our first experience, but, I will not be returning for awhile..

9.5/10Excellent place for a Japanese dinner with family or friends. We served quite a few of the items from their menu and all were very tasty and fresh. The premises are pretty basic, thus don't expect a grand entrance, or eclectic decorations. This is the place for great food, thus expect exquisite cuisine!

8.5/10Really enjoyed the sushi and atmosphere. 30% deal wasn't available although the lunchtime set menu was. Only annoying thing was the waitress mixed the tuna tarte before we even had chance to see it with its egg yolk - wouldnt order that again but the sushi rolls were all great portion sizes and particularly enjoyed the tempura fried sushi
