8.5/10Food is excellent, with many choices and good recommendations. Service was overall good, even though they “forgot” a little about me, even while the restaurant was almost empty and thus not busy. The place is nice but somewhat lacking atmosphere, as it was almost empty. Still, very nice and recomendable.

8/10The sushi was wonderful while eating at the restaurant. Presentation was beautiful. Service was excellent. Sadly, I was nauseated after about 3.5 hours. I vomited all night and felt sick for several days after.

7.5/10Very good food and service but the restaurant it is inside an incredibly ugly and standard Hilton hotel. It could be a road hotel in Minnesota. Cero atmosphere and cero charm.

7.5/10We were visiting Spain and had some difficulty finding higher quality sushi places and we were glad to find this one. Pretty good sushi in a clean and crisp setting. Nice sake list; good value Service started out very good, but became a bit disorderly as the restaurant filled up. In general presentation was very good.

8.5/10Everything we tried was great, would definitely go back for the food, but probably won't because of the ambiance. You're literally eating in a hotel lobby with lonely hotel guests who don't feel like leaving the hotel, so would not recommend it for a romantic night out. They also served us at lightning speed, which is usually not something to complain about, but we were in and out in 50 minutes, which seems a bit excessive!

They took my reservation last-minute (accepted about 12 minutes before my booking time) and they even allowed me to do the Omakase on such short notice (and within an hour before closing!). The sushi chefs were incredibly kind and explained each dish very well. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend dining here!

10/10Amazing: product, préparation, explanation, and attention of staff. Also quantity (with Chef Omakase which i recommend) was perfect for us. I highly recommend as it is the best japanese in Madrid.

10/10Normally I might say this was one of the best sushi places I have ever been to but I can actually say this is the best sushi I have ever had. Both my wife and I didn’t expect it to be this good. From the service and the friendly chef and waiter, this was a great experience that we couldn’t stop talking about. Can’t wait to go back again.

6/10I’m not really sure how a 3 star Michelin chef could have chosen the lobby of the doubletree hotel for a sushi restaurant, but I’m fairly certain the ambiance kills this place. It’s almost behind the check in desk so all night you get elevator music. The restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night. The staff was very friendly. The food was ok, but not at all an omakase worthy restaurant. Not really sure what Sanz was thinking in locating his restaurant here.

5/10The sushi was good, the ramen on the other hand was completely tasteless. Broth had no flavour and no salt. We had to return it. They came back with a quick fix and it was better but not something I would recommend. The service was good, they apologised for the inconvenience and having forgotten one of the orders they brought one nigiri more.

10/10The restaurant serves great Japanese fusion food . We chose one of the menus consisting of a number of dishes and none of them disappointed. Strangely no soya sauce offered with any of up to dozen various offers but we really enjoyed many - duck in aubergine and veal cheek were stand-outs. The service is quick and in English which is a rarity in Spain.
