10/10I was at Harry's Bar having a martini. The bartender overheard me talking about wanting to have a steak. He recommended L'Absinthe. What a great tip. The tenderloin lived up to its name. Best I've ever had. The salad was very nice also. An amazing dressing. My waiter recommended a type of vin rouge I'd never tried: delicieux. Then I had an absinthe as my digestif. Very tasty. You should dine here. I also appreciated the fact that they were quite forgiving about my lack of French language skills. It's got a much quieter vibe than many places along that strip of places. Something I appreciated.

10/10We were a party of 12 and can honestly say the service of the young waitress was exceptional and timely. All of our group loved their food, best steak (pinacha) we’d had in a long time. Very reasonably priced for such good quality. Lovely vibe!

7.5/10I really like this restaurant but the menu this time had a lot of steak, I actually ordered the magret which was disappointing: dry and without any sauce or other flavour. My friends enjoyed the ribeye steak and we all enjoyed the wine. The service was great and the chocolate custard delicious. Overall not bad but not as good as on previous visits.

10/10Wonderful experience at this restaurant, from many aspects. Service, food quality, and wine selection were all highly satisfactory. The casual choice of sides was made special with the service of a variety of homemade condiments with our meat and fries. Even the quiet ambiance at the end of a busy square was perfect for our midweek dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return.

10/10This is one of the best restaurants in the 1st Arr. Every time we are in Paris we make sure to dine there. Food is exquisite, menu changes all the time, prices are very reasonable, and service is excellent. Right in the center this is a hidden jam.

9/10Mr Smith was an awesome waiter . This is a good French restaurant . The service was perfect . The menu is a bit short . The potatoes and roasted veggies were underwhelming that came with the steak . Picanha steak was good and cooked proper. The wine and absinthe were excellent . We got in at 7 and by 8 it was mostly full . They do have some odd items. Like beef tongue and dog sauce so some vegan ladies left and didn’t want to eat . We are American and not used to such items , but various cultures and foods differ and I am open to it all . The apple tart was delicious to finish up . I would recommend to an adventurous traveler with an open palette . Not exactly a traditional French cuisine but we would go again . By the way … dog sauce is vegan … but the ladies didn’t know and neither did we until we looked it up .

10/10Had s super fun evening here with friends. Has been years ago and decided time to revisit. Food very tasty, classic but well done and several notches above bistro fare. Upstairs dining room charming, old. school with modern contemporary touches. Service was great...not fast as only 1 waiter for 6 tables but the waiter was funny and charming and went out of his way to make us have a good time. Notably we had 4 teens with us and he joked a lot with them and was very good at checking in gluten free options, running to the kitchen several times to double check for safety. Not a fast dinner...good 3 hours, but we were not rushing.
