10/10We really enjoyed our visit to this l’Atelier in the Joël Robuchon portfolio of great restaurants. We had the Tasting Menu and the food was amazing; prepared with the best ingredients and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and professional with very good wine recommendations. We love the counter style seating with a full view of the kitchen. I give the Atelier my best recommendation.

6/10+1The service was not up to the standard of a Michelin-starred restaurant and was rather arrogant. However, I highly recommend the location in St. Germain from the same chain, as it fully meets expectations.

8.5/10The food itself is really good. Every dish prepared with the utmost detail and flavors. That, my friends, earn them the star but.... the uptightness and tension emanating from the kitchen area takes away from the experience, and so does the extremely long wait in between dishes. At the end, they even forgot my coffee, which was part of the tasting. I had to ask twice! Again... Great food, now bring it up to the star level.

5.5/10The Michelin Guide should send 2 single American women & see how they are treated. An expensive disappointing experience. We spent $400 (per person). We could not get a sommelier to help us with wine pairings or suggestions. OUTRAGEOUS. Caviar sat in front of me while I waited for wine. We were told they could not help and they brought over a giant bottle of wine from which they were serving everyone. I asked to taste the wine separate from my friend and I was told that only one person in a couple could taste the wine by the glass we paid a fortune for. As if I was scamming them for a taste of wine from a shared bottle. At the end of the meal when they brought the check the credit card machine asked how much “Tip” we wanted to leave 10% 15% or 20%. The service fee is always included by law in the bill. Trying to trick Americans. I would have tipped if the service and experience had been good. Michelin take back your star. Place is a disgrace.

6.5/10M. Robuchon must be turning in his grave as his legacy is being destroyed in his homebased of Paris. We gathered with a couple of friends to celebrate his 50th birthday and it was the worst experience of any Michelin-starred restaurant I've ever been. Simply put, we found a live cockroach in our bread basket which we killed. We didn't make a big fuss about it just showed it to the waiter who offered to replace the bread, that's it. On top of this, when we got the bill, good thing I double checked, they were charging us twice for the main entrees, more than €300!!!!! and I saw the waiter checking with the maitre before giving it to us. When he brought it back correctly we asked him to split in two and gave him both our cards and still he charged it all to one. He said he'd check with the manager to see what he could do, but we were too fed up with their services and decided to fix it among ourselves, and got out of there. What a shame, they ruined a perfectly good celebration.

10/10Excellent restaurant in the Joël Robuchon empire. Beautifully presented food made from high quality ingredients. Once again I had the tasting menu and I highly recommend it. Service was great - friendly and professional. The counter style dining and red and black colour scheme will be very familiar to friends of l’Atelier all around the world. It’s located below a so-called drugstore, but don’t let that scare you. As soon as you walk down the stairs you’ll know that you’re in the right place. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Bar/kitchen seating was fabulous. We had service from everyone behind the bar, not just our waiter. The vegetarian pre-set menu was beautiful and delicious. It paired perfectly with the wine suggestion from the sommelier.

9.5/10The food was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting Paris. We did the lunch service, 1 entree, 1 main dish, 1 dessert and we were already quite full! The lobster spaghetti and their foie gras are a must get!

5/10Very disappointing! We have dined here so many times. Just NOT the same. Very disorganized and service was inattentive. Service in the past was impeccable and the experience used to be a highlight. . Now , we are thinking we will not return to this location.Re dinner, our veloute was delicious as was the sole . We can have that elsewhere with more attentiveness and better atmosphere. Perhaps the management is not up to snuff. It was our anniversary and they disregarded it although it was noted with our reservation. Had to remind them. Overall, not a great night out. Would not recommend.

9.5/10Loved this restaurant the first time, so here we are dining at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon Etoile again. The tasting menu was excellent from start to finish, and to finish off with the Mango dessert was superb! Only reason we didn't give a perfect score was because the service tapered off a little midway through our meal. The attention to detail and the miscues from the team show us that there can be improvement. Of course we would still visit again next time we are in Paris.

10/10+2We were skeptical about a michelin restaurant located in the basement of a drugstore in the largest tourist area in France, but we were in for a great surprise. Everything from the food to the service was exquisite. Just be sure to understand your phone will not have service if you are a social media poster.

6/10Food was very good, but service terrible. We had to wait for 50 minutes for two glasses of champagne (we were half way through the menu and already asked for them three times). Afterwards, we only managed to get another glass of wine with the last main. Sitting at the counter was not the best experience either, all we could see was people running around with dirty dishes and the people in the kitchen were very loud. Not recommended at all for the price tag

10/10As always, l’Atelier was wonderful. It is great to sit at the counter and staff was really nice and friendly. I got great recommendations from the eonologist who was very knowledgeable. The 49€ menu is great value for money, and food was delicious, as always.

9/10L'Aterlier de JR Etoile was a great dining experience, once that is expected from a place with a Michelin star. The counter service was exceptional, and could be improved upon even further. The Signature Menu is well crafted, but also could be made even better and some dishes could be executed more thoroughly to reach great heights in the culinary world. I recommend visiting this restaurant, particularly due to their extensive A la Carte menu offerings! The prices were good as well!

6/10We had high expectations for this Restaurant and, don't get me wrong, it was OK but it certainly wasn't on par with the other 1 Michelin star restaurants we've been to. Firstly we were squeezed cheek by jowl on stools along the counter - so close together that the chap next to me elbowed me every time he tried to cut his food. The sommelier, when discovering that I didn't drink alcohol, gave the wine list to my friend and then walked away without discussing any non-alcoholic options for me - only eventually suggesting and alcohol free beer (and nothing else...). The food was OK but not memorable - especially the caviar dish that was cold and textureless, like it had just been grabbed out of the fridge - too cold for any of the flavours to show through. Service was generally OK but it felt like we were on the clock - one dish arriving before they had cleared the plates for the previous dish and fresh cutlery following on behind. No attempt to ask if we wanted more water or more drinks and often the dishes felt like they were just being dumped in front of us with no explanation and certainly no pride. Like I say, the food was OK but there wasn't a single knock out memorable dish - which for a 220Euro tasting menu is pretty poor. I fear that this restaurant has a Michelin star not based on the quality of food but on Michelin's reverence for its deceased founder. You're resting on your laurels guys - put the effort in again.
