9/10A Pleasant Evening at L’avant Gare Yesterday's visit to L’avant Gare, a cozy European eatery, left a generally positive impression. The majority of our group opted for burgers, which were universally well-received for their flavor and juiciness. My girlfriend, however, found her duck dish lacking, as the fat was not properly rendered. On the brighter side, my dorade was a highlight – perfectly seasoned and complemented by lovely, fresh vegetables. Desserts also stood out, with each option being nicely balanced and satisfying. The friendly and humorous servers added to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. L’avant Gare is a solid choice for a casual yet delightful meal.

2/10Let's begin with : prices are on average 6 euros more than in the app. The food wasn't generous at all. It was okay good but definitely not worth 25 euros. Only one really nice waiter, all the others running around the place giving my friend and I a headache... we spent half an hour there. A stressful ambiance and why ?? It wasn't packed ??

2/10Very bad experience. The prices in the restaurant are higher than the ones put on the fork menu. the service was very slow and they mixed up our order. The waiters were very rude and responded to us sarcastically. The food is not worth the price.

8.5/10We enjoyed our meal and the staff were lovely and helpful. It was our first night in Paris and we were tired and hungry. They were the perfect balance of attentive, yet letting us be and enjoy. We had a technical challenge with The Fork that they helped resolve so we could get our discount. I would eat there again, and highly recommend the ravioli with cheese and spinach!

2/10the discount is valid for half of the food from the menu, the beer was brought wrong, the order was changed, but the waiters do not hear you at all, As a result, the discount was not applied at all.

3.5/10This restaurant was terrible from the reception to the end. I ordered snails that were so oovercookedand the shells so overused that they were breaking as I tried to eat them. Steak was over cook but the cream brulée was good. I would not recommend this restaurant

10/10The food was great, the service was wonderful. French isn't our first language & were unsure about the 50% off offer from The Fork. We enjoyed our meal very much. When paying, the server remembered the discount without me asking, we got 50% off the whole bill. Which made the meal even more perfect. Thank you!

10/10I am a tourist in the country and in most restaurants the customer service is horrible, and this is the first time that I felt comfortable, the waiter was very attentive and friendly, the food came quickly and everything was delicious, we loved it. I highly recommend it ????

9.5/10The restaurant was beautifully lit and kept us happy and warm even though it was raining outside. The penne arrabiata was spicy but possibly one of the best pastas I’ve ever eaten. The customer service was mediocre at first but they realized that they had been understaffed and the manager or owner quickly realized and comforted us. Not a very long wait and amazing food and desert.

9/10We came back already for the second time during our Paris stay. Very much recommended. Can be easily reached from the city centre. Woth the 50 percent off offer of the Fork it is really good value for money (main course less than 10 Euro).

9/10We -a family with teenagers- made a reservation Xmas eve. The location was precise. The ambience at first was nice and afterwards turned a bit noisy. Rather good food. Fair prices. The bathroom was dirty tho.
