The restaurant was absolutely brilliant, and made our children feel very welcome. The surprise menu was a first and very interesting!! Amazing night. Highly recommend!

It was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had. The place is cozy, staff is only three people and very friendly, the food is amazing. We had the 5 course blind menu option and they served dessert as the 6th course. All 6 of them were great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits or lives in Lyon!

We went with a group of study abroad students. It was excellent. They accommodated every single one of our needs and the food was divine. The wait staff was kind and charismatic, and the chef served us our food as well. I will return to lyon and eat at L’écume again. Mark my words

very good food with unusally type of dishes. But what makes evenmore the difference with the other restaurant is the service. Every details of each people was taken into consideration in order to make a first class tailor made solutions !!!!

The service is very bad . 1. The waiter doesn’t ask us about our table selection. Directly point us the Table right outside of the restroom when we are the first customer arrived . Additionally, the tables weren’t fully occupied at the end of dining. 2. The wine bottle we had selected wasn’t presented to us for validation before opening . The wine taste is different from what I ordered. The waiter was explaining the difference of temperature and etcetera , I couldn’t agree at all . 3. The utensils are not changed from courses . The waitress required us to remain the same fork and knife which is already stained.

Wonderful, experimental menu with three courses , plus amuse-bouche to start. WIne list very good with wines for all budgets. Pumpkin scallop appetizzer was fantastic.

One of the best meals I had in France. The dishes are a surprise each night. The combination of flavors and textures was great. If you are in Lyon, eat here!
