Owner was not very friendly border line rude. He rushed us thru the order, seemed annoyed by our choices. The sweet breads were okay but disappointing and the magret was so so. overall did not meet my expectations for the 200 euros for 2 we paid. I wouldn’t not come back. Our server Bruno on the other hand was very nice and very friendly and did a great job.

Sir, I am very surprised to read your comment: I’m sorry that you find our dishes are not to your taste, because the sweetbreads you ordered is one of the favorite dishes of customers. You find expensive it makes sense given that you ordered 1 bottle and a half of quality wine. Since on the day of dinner that night half our customers arrive like you at 7:30 pm to avoid the expectations of orders and that is why I came to take your order. What a quaint spot, or should I say hidden gem? Greeted by I assumed the owner, from the initial meeting of our waiter, everything was superb! For our last dinner in Paris before heading South in France…..wow…..we hit a home run. Thank You to the entire team for a great experience…..and the window so you could watch the Chef made me so, so glad I was facing his way.

Loved this restaurant. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the ambience of the dining room was lovely and the food was incredible. Good sized portions, everything cooked to perfection and all for a reasonable price. We will certainly be returning. Would recommend this for sure when visiting Paris. The staff is very welcoming, the food is exquisite and the atmosphere is very charming. The chef made sure we enjoyed our experience throughout our stay and generously treated us to a special dessert on the house. The staff is very friendly and they spoke perfect english and handed us english menues which was very convenient for us as our french is poor unfortunately. Perfect experience!

We had a simply lovely dinner Friday night May 17th at L'Empreinte! It was perfect from beginning to end. The host (and owner) was welcoming and personable. Our server was friendly, and the food----quite impressive. The chef (also a kind person) made an incredibly delicious asparagus starter with hollandaise sauce. Then we had the special scallops (to die for, with their passion fruit sauce) and the crusty pork. Both perfect. We finished it off with the yummy fruit pavlova---good to share. The ambiance is cozy, and the music was American country western--which we loved, even if it isn't exactly traditional French! At any rate, we'll happily go back next time we are in the Denfert Rochereau neighborhood.

This was a lovely find in the 14th arrondissement. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and to make sure you don't leave hungry! The food is wonderfully prepared, French with some asian influences, and arrives in very generous portions. The service is very attentive, making sure you are enjoying your meal and doing whatever it takes to make sure you do! It is a great option if you are visiting the Parisian sewers or the market street Rue Daguerre. It is definitely worth going out of your way to have a meal.

We found this place on the way walking back to our hotel. It is exactly what we were looking for in a traditional French restaurant experience. The food was fabulous. The servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything as we liked it.

Came upon this restaurant when searching for a place for dinner while on the Eurostar from London. Food and service were incredible, plus the English menus were quite helpful. Appetizers and dessert were great, but the duck breast was the star of the show. Perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Can't wait to return next time I am in Paris!

Lovely little restaurant that genuinely cares about providing a high quality meal in a comfortable setting. Delicious food, nicely presented, with good service. Take advantage of a seat where you can watch the chef prepare the food through a window to the kitchen! Excellent value.

Had the set 3-course meal--all delicious and beautifully presented. The salmon gravlax was exceptional. My main course of roasted piglet (like a "teenager " our accommodating server said) with a toasted garlic sauce was memorable. On the server's recommendation we ordered the fresh figs with ice cream and a thin almond biscuit. A wonderful experience in every respect.

Very friendly staff. All French speaking patrons in restaurant, so not full of tourists (like ys). Host made us feel welcome even when we were 15 mins late. Food was good and even though I forgot, we got our 20% off food bill as booked thru the fork app.

I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. My wife had a glass of a Bordeaux and I tried Calvados for the first time, both were excellent. Our appetizers were superb, gravilox and salad with a grilled block of cheese. Our dinners were equally delicious, beef and duck. Since I have diabetes they substituted out the potatoes for salad and spinach. What a great experience, bravo and merci.

Charming restaurant with intimate ambiance and impeccable service. Complete scratch kitchen with a window, you can watch the chef make your meal. We had sea bass and steak, both delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mashed potatoes with the bass were the best we’ve ever had. The mushrooms with the steak were also the best we’ve ever had. Value is tremendous as well for the quality of food you get. Wonderful experience!
