What a great find in the 14th Arrondissement! François was welcoming, educational and engaging throughout the experience, and the food was classical French. Highly recommend the scallops, filet de bar, and the Sancerre wine from the well chosen list. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to wonderful Paris!

Last night, we had an unforgettable Christmas Eve dinner. This is the best restaurant in our Paris trip, the food was wonderful, the host had greeted us warmly and recommenced the best dishes, The appetizer was snail and foie gras. The snail is tasty and the foie gras is excellent when come with bread. Additionally, deer meat is our main dish last night. According to the restaurant owner, deer meat is commonly on the dining table for French during Christmas. Its taste and texture is great. We’d recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Outstanding food and service, and at a fair price. This has to be one of the best magret de canard in Paris -- crispy on the outside, rosy inside and so tender.

We were looking for a Paris restaurant open on Sunday in our area. This restaurant was recommended on Trip Advisor. We enjoyed specials and regular menu items for dinner including fish filet with hollandaise sauce, mashed yellow potatoes and green beans. My husband also ordered fish but in a light butter sauce with same side dishes. For dessert we both enjoyed the red cherry cake with ice cream. The waiter and owner were very professional and friendly. Also a quiet restaurant. .

We received very warm greeting when we arrived. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The service and food were excellent. We brought our daughter with special needs and they accommodated her very picky food choices. My husband had the duck and my daughter and I had the steak. The pavlova and lemon tart were the best we ever had. We highly recommend L’Empreinte.

The food was good but could be improved—like a better sauce for the pork and a more refined salmon starter with surprising combinations. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were so warm and kind—it felt like coming home!

My mom and I were visiting Paris over the holidays and had our most memorable meal at L’Empreinte. The owners were incredibly friendly, food was delicious, and we even got a special treat to top off the night. Recommend coming here for an excellent Paris experience.

Owner was not very friendly border line rude. He rushed us thru the order, seemed annoyed by our choices. The sweet breads were okay but disappointing and the magret was so so. overall did not meet my expectations for the 200 euros for 2 we paid. I wouldn’t not come back. Our server Bruno on the other hand was very nice and very friendly and did a great job.
L'EmpreinteSir, I am very surprised to read your comment: I’m sorry that you find our dishes are not to your taste, because the sweetbreads you ordered is one of the favorite dishes of customers. You find expensive it makes sense given that you ordered 1 bottle and a half of quality wine. Since on the day of dinner that night half our customers arrive like you at 7:30 pm to avoid the expectations of orders and that is why I came to take your order. The food was probably the best we’ve had in our 12 days in France so far. The wine list was quite good, and the people were really nice. We really liked it.

What a quaint spot, or should I say hidden gem? Greeted by I assumed the owner, from the initial meeting of our waiter, everything was superb! For our last dinner in Paris before heading South in France…..wow…..we hit a home run. Thank You to the entire team for a great experience…..and the window so you could watch the Chef made me so, so glad I was facing his way.

The veal and the Seabass were excellent. The pork however, was dry and almost in edible.
