Perfect place to try steak Florentine! Great wine list. The restaurant was quite busy, even had a line outside waiting for the doors to open on a Thursday evening but the kitchen did a good job expediting.

Outstanding Tuscan food. Highly recommend. Pork belly, spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and burratta cream, florentine steak, lamb, and vegetables caponata. Definitely go back when we visit Florence.

The experience was 10/10! The pastas were great. The steak fiorentina was not to everyone’s liking ( I loved it) and the staff was able to accommodate us. The desserts were amazing.

I ate at many restaurants while in Florence, three BIB gourmand. This was the best in quality and service. The coccoli (fried dough) appetizer with a smooth cheese spread was served warm and very good. The Pigeon over cabbage (second course) was delicious, tender and one of the best dishes I had in Italy.

Beef cheeks so delicious and tender. Fried mixed vegetables (which are difficult to find ) and a wonderful cheese cake (although creamier than American) with a berry topping which looked homemade and not a cheap jam compote you get back home. Superb staff as well. Many Italians were there. So not tourist quality.

Our server was phenomenal. She was friendly and very knowledgeable and made our visit very memorable. The food was also second to none. They deserve their first Michelin Star. Steak tartare, meatballs, duck, Pigeon risotto, pumpkin ravioli, were all simply delicious. If we were in town longer we would go again.

Very disappointing experience given the high acclaim the restaurant has received. In particular, my secondi, the beef cheeks, was very disagreeable. Assuming it was presented as intended, the meat is served room temperature with a cold green sauce on top and with surprisingly unripe diced tomatoes. The meat badly needed salt, and the sauce was unpleasant. Scraped the sauce off and tried to add enough salt to make it palatable, but it was a lost cause.

The fish risotto that I had was lovely and the fried anchovies starter was good as well. However, my partners fish pasta was not good at all. The fish was dry and overcooked inside the pasta as it was so thick. We told the waitress this and expected her to come back after speaking with the kitchen but she never returned. The waiters were friendly but we got our bottle of wine 45 minutes after we arrived and after the starter had already been served. We had really high hopes but were ultimately very disappointed. It's really nice inside and the dishes look fantastic so it could have just been an off night.

The food and service was very good and when it started raining we were kindly moved to a table inside. Service was very friendly and not too fast. The portions were very generous as well. Thanks to the team for brightening our trip to a wet Florence.

Great night ! A very nice restaurant with an excellent staff who both knows their dishes as well as when to be available. Excellent food, from antipasto to bistecca a la Florentina (shout out to the risotto al safran which was amazing) Thank you !
