We have been in Annecy for almost one week and have not been able to find any restaurant with food we liked, all restaurants seem to serve the same limited choices. We went to L'osmose du Lac in Talloires at the end of the week and were so delighted with the restaurant, we wished we had discovered it earlier in the week. The staff were welcoming, the wine choices endless but the best part was the delicious food we had for lunch. We began with gazpacho, which was served with a lovely mint sorbet in the middle of the bowl. The gazpacho was delicious. Our main meal was the special of the day, a mixture of chicken, duck, and veal served in a wonderful sauce and vegetables. The dessert was just as wonderful as the other courses, I had chocolate mousse (although too much for one person) and my husband had poached pear in red wine. The meal was reasonably priced, especially for such good quality food and service. Thank you! The #60 bus will take you from Annecy to Talloires.

We had a lovely lunch with a very dear elderly friend . The food was exciting and we enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. The setting in the village of Menthon was very endearing .

The food and service were lovely. Don't be put off by its proximity to the road - the restaurant has amazing soundproofing and, once inside, we could not tell there was a road passing so close. The food was very creative and beautifully presented. The price was no more than other local restaurants, but the quality was superb.

The lamb shank is rightly described as "incontournable" or unmissable. Despite being served in a lighter broth and with summer vegetables to reflect the season, both the lamb and the sauce were packed full of flavour. Unfortunately we were short on time but both the starters and desserts being served at other tables looked very tempting and we will surely return for a more relaxed meal. Attentive and friendly service.
