Great place, all the way! Very friendly service, nice public and delicious food. We had the filet mignon as a main. Very generous, tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare).

Top 5 meal I have ever had in my life. Whoever leaves less than five stars should immediately be checked into an insane asylum. Someone on here actually wrote “ they were about to close so I didn’t get great service”. They could have serve me in the bathroom, that’s how good the food was here. To the staff, thank you for treating us so well.

The experience was wonderful from the cheerful greeting when we walked in to the delicious meal and to the complementary lemon ice with biscotti. We came back a second night because our meals were delicious. The caprese salad is a must! The seafood pasta is as well.

I have been here twice in two months and had a great experience each time. The food is very good, and their cantucci is phenomenal. I have not been able to find any other cantucci with the slight chewiness of Giovanni’s despite my best efforts ordering/buying cantucci around Florence. It is absolutely addictive.

Most SPECIAL restaurant in Florence! Caterina has made this place so CHARMING, BEAUTIFUL, & full of amazing surprises. The whole place glows & each room is different. The food is the best we have had in Florence. Service personable. Great wines. We cannot wait to return. Tell Caterina THANK YOU. I am appreciative my friend Lorenzo Baccani recommended. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Our server had a very large, very busy table next to us that required so much of his attention but he never forgot our little table for two. I don’t know how he did it. I used to wait tables and I would have lost my mind if I were him haha. Ultimately I ordered too much food and my young son was exhausted from the day and was falling asleep at the table so our server packed up our leftovers for us. Now I have to figure out how to reheat filet mignon in our hotel room!

Service was incredible - the staff went out of their way to welcome us and made great suggestions. The 3 of us shared a Bistecca alla Fiorentina and 2 pasta dishes. We chose the papardelle with duck ragout and the waiter suggested we try the pici with shaved truffles - by far our favorite pasta dishes in Italy so far!! Delicious! Wine was wonderful, lemon cake was wonderful - we ate waaaay too much. Highly highly recommend!

Spend my birthday there and is satisfied with the Florentine steak I ordered, which is medium rare. The steak is crispy on the outside and tender inside, not bloody which is how I like it. The truffle spaghetti also tastes great with good texture and sufficient cream to coat the pasta. We were served free fried bread which are very flavorful. Lastly free delightful biscotti and the lemon sorbet to end the day. Thank you for making my day special

Excellent excellent & exceptional We have very good steak in nyc, but this restaurant is just wow. Our family of 4 had the artichoke salad, 2kg of florentine steak,, potatoes, a side of green veges and 3 different desserts. It was all perfect and the service was top notch. This place is a gem away from the busy tourist area but close enough to walk from the duomo. Just go. You won’t regret it. It may be your best meal in Florence.

It was our second time dining in this restaurant and as always the food was very good. This visit is memorable as i have received my dessert cake with a lighted candle and a birthday song from the waiters and people who are also dining that night. This restaurant is recommended.

Top 3 restaurants in all of Florence. Beautify decorated restaurant with plenty of space. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of items to choose from. This restaurant also has an extensive wine list. Don't miss this meal if you are in Florence.
