10/10They treat you like regulars with complimentary starter from kitchen , plus almond cookies and lemon sorbet for dessert from chef. We were offered a complimentary limoncello, but just too much food!

10/10The service and the food were both very satisfying. Wine is generally ordered by the bottle, but even when I ordered by the glass they went out of their way to open a new bottle and let me taste it.

10/10What an amazing experience. The food was amazing and the service unmatched. Our waiter, KD, was amazing and the team was attentive. The truffle pasta was great and the Florentine was cooked perfectly. Thank you for one of the best experiences in Florence.

10/10One of the most amazing food experiences I’ve had in Rome! While we waited for a table they gave us complimentary wine, the service was phenomenal, and the food was out of this world! 10/10 would recommend!

GREAT RECEPTION - The restaurant L'Osteria di Giovanni is located in the heart of Florence, near the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It offers an environment with a rustic, characteristic furniture, embellished by a warm, friendly and always very relaxing. REGIONAL CUISINE - The restaurant's menu is full of typical Tuscan specialities, with a prevalence of meat dishes. There is no lack fish courses, prepared based on the daily availability. Very good the homemade desserts, such as the pistachio parfait. DISHES TO TRY - Do not miss the ribollita, pici with sausage and cabbage sauce, sliced beef with porcini mushrooms sautéed and milk-fed veal ossobuco with potatoes.
