Service was incredible - the staff went out of their way to welcome us and made great suggestions. The 3 of us shared a Bistecca alla Fiorentina and 2 pasta dishes. We chose the papardelle with duck ragout and the waiter suggested we try the pici with shaved truffles - by far our favorite pasta dishes in Italy so far!! Delicious! Wine was wonderful, lemon cake was wonderful - we ate waaaay too much. Highly highly recommend!

Spend my birthday there and is satisfied with the Florentine steak I ordered, which is medium rare. The steak is crispy on the outside and tender inside, not bloody which is how I like it. The truffle spaghetti also tastes great with good texture and sufficient cream to coat the pasta. We were served free fried bread which are very flavorful. Lastly free delightful biscotti and the lemon sorbet to end the day. Thank you for making my day special

Excellent excellent & exceptional We have very good steak in nyc, but this restaurant is just wow. Our family of 4 had the artichoke salad, 2kg of florentine steak,, potatoes, a side of green veges and 3 different desserts. It was all perfect and the service was top notch. This place is a gem away from the busy tourist area but close enough to walk from the duomo. Just go. You won’t regret it. It may be your best meal in Florence.

It was our second time dining in this restaurant and as always the food was very good. This visit is memorable as i have received my dessert cake with a lighted candle and a birthday song from the waiters and people who are also dining that night. This restaurant is recommended.

Top 3 restaurants in all of Florence. Beautify decorated restaurant with plenty of space. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of items to choose from. This restaurant also has an extensive wine list. Don't miss this meal if you are in Florence.

The staff at di Giovanni’s is the friendliest and most welcoming. As soon as you’re seated you are greeted with a glass of Prosecco. They bring little extras throughout the dinner delicately addictive bits of fried pasta and fried artichoke. I had the tortelli with pear and pecorino to start and then some finely sliced carpaccio with truffles. For dessert one of my colleagues and I had the apple cake special. It was a bit crispy on the outside soft on the inside. I have had a wonderful experience every time I have been to di Giovanni’s and this was another confirmation of why I should keep coming back.
