6.5/10The service guys were quite different. One was very quiet and distanced, sometimes stressed and a bit angry, the other one always pretended to be my best friend, but in a very unauthentic way… The food was good and the ambiance to!

10/10Voted the best meal of our trip by everyone in our group. Excellent steak, and our waiter was great at suggesting the perfect wine, drinks for the kids, and dessert. Wonderful atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening as a family.

7/10The traditional bisteca and Chianti wine were delicious. We also had gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti bolognese and fiorentina pizza, all of which were not at par with what we’ve eaten at other restaurants.

10/1012 of us spent a wonderful night at this restaurant. The steaks were great, and we were served by Abano. He was the best host ever. I am so glad that we chose this restaurant over all others in Florence.

4.5/10Disappointed in how long they took to bring us our food. We were there before the crowd and somehow the many tables got their food first. Steak was average. I could have gone somewhere else for a better steak. Gave us a wrong order after we told them it wasn’t ours. They insisted it was. Pasta was probably the only thing not disappointing.

4/10The steak was absolutely terrible. Chewy and tough. We warned other diners not to order it. I told our waiter it was really bad. He just shook his head and walked away. The restaurant is outdoors with poor fans and a mist system. It was very uncomfortable. We were totally disappointed in this experience. Also they overcharged us by $20.

8/10Simply amazing location on the piazza. The food was incredible with the exception of the lamb chops (a lot of work without much payoff). The only issue was the waitstaff which seemed like they would have rather been on the pitch.

5.5/10Staff was nice, view was great, but food was very disappointing. We ordered a very expensive steak (140euros/kg) because wanted to splurge and try the famous Florence steak. I do not recommend. It was probably one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. Tasted like it was boiled, no flavor at all, came very under cooked (asked for medium rare and it was blue rare). Was so tough we could barely cut it with a steak knife. I thought Kobe was supposed to be tender. I think this place is a tourist trap.

8/10Good experience overall but I booked this restaurant with the 20% discount on the fork, which the restaurant conveniently “forgot” when we got the bill. The food was good, I’ve had better steaks before, but definitely a fun experience overall.

9.5/10An oaisis on a hot day in crowded Florence. Excellent Tuscan food and good service. Fans and water vapor kept the roofed open air restaurant cool and there was plenty of room.

4.5/10The menu was good but the service was terrible. It was a nice place to eat something but the waiter was very unfriendly. “Your welcome” or “prego” was too much. I ordered a Wagyu but it was definitely not a “quality” Wagyu. My friend ordered a very good Carbonara. The other staff was very kindly!

6/10I don’t understand why this restaurant is in the top 10 steak house in Florence, but you should know- it is commercial ordinary restaurant, with average food (Florence steak) and not quite good service (I just want to mention the oldest waiter, who was careless and impudent, he even mentioned that we have to give him tips which is not included in the bill????. Other guys seemed to be ok. This restaurant left me a little disappointed… in comparison of course with other restaurants….maybe I have higher expectations….

3/10The service was very very slow, 40 minutes for our starters to arrive then a further hour for the main course, one of which was sent back as the pasta was so over cooked it was like chewing on rubber bands, when it returned it was even worse, still chewy and now covered in a runny cheesy sauce, since when is that part of a carbonara dish ?

9.5/10Really good food! The cold cuts platter was fantastic and the pizza was spot on. Really cute views and lovely interior however service was a bit slow/frantic. That said, we had a really lovely meal and send our thanks to all.

7/10The steak Fiorentina was wonderful and I loved that the server recommended one that was not the most expensive on the menu. The soups were very good especially the Ribolitto. Portions are huge so beware and order accordingly. The pastas were disappointing, but hey, it's a steak place. Service was attentive and efficient.

5/10Stopped by the restaurant in the afternoon to make a reservation and hold a certain table. We were told it would cost 15€ to hold it. We left. Went to our apartment to make a reservation and were able to do so on The Fork. When we arrived, we were told they do not take reservations. I told him we have a confirmation for a table and was done at a 20% discount. He agreed to honor it, but it was quite awkward.

10/10We were pleasantly surprised with the attentive courtesy of our waiter. The recommendation for the steak was incredible. Did not try to oversell but simply stated what was a sincere recommendation for us. Definitely feel this is a must stop for everyone.

9/10The restaurant atmosphere was very cozy and pleasant. The staff Antonio was very friendly welcoming us, and was helpful to manage to accommodate my request to make 'well-cooked' beefsteak. The food and drink were not that super but good overall!! On top, I received 30% discount from the whole bill because of booking the table online via Thefork just 30 minutes earlier!! We really enjoyed the experience at the restaurant!!

7.5/10Overseeing the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica, the view cannot get any better. Food is well-prepared and with loads of meat options. It’s a bit pricey, and hence the score moves lower on that front.

9.5/10We were made very welcome and the waiter spoke excellent English which helped us. He provided good advice on food and wine. We enjoyed a really relaxed meal on our last night in Florence.
