To improve , the restaurant needs to get rid of the Head of Service & some of the waiters. A customer does not expect to hear a Front of House Maitre de sounding off and smashing bottles & glasses behind a screened off area out of sight but within hearing distance to customers. My wife ordered Veal & Mushrooms, she got Veal & Lemon Sauce. I ordered Chicken Slices with NO Cheese, I got Chicken with Shaved Cheese. Wine was way overpriced. €109 . Do yourself a favour…dont book…& food was not hot

Disappointing Christmas Day Meal We booked this restaurant for Christmas Day, hoping for a festive and relaxing meal after a day of sightseeing. Upon arrival, we asked to be seated inside, as there were several empty tables. However, we were directed to the glass-enclosed outdoor area, which was acceptable but not ideal. After sitting for about 5-7 minutes, we asked the waiter for the menu, and his response was a loud sigh, as if he was reluctant to serve us. This felt rude and unprofessional. The Florentina Scotta steak was the highlight of the meal—tender and flavorful. The tomato soup was not your typical soupy-style soup,carbonara pasta was just okay—nothing remarkable. Service was slow throughout the meal, and while the atmosphere was decent, it lacked the festive charm we had hoped for on Christmas Day. Overall, the service and seating experience were disappointing, especially for such a special occasion.Wouldn't rush to come back

The service guys were quite different. One was very quiet and distanced, sometimes stressed and a bit angry, the other one always pretended to be my best friend, but in a very unauthentic way… The food was good and the ambiance to!

Voted the best meal of our trip by everyone in our group. Excellent steak, and our waiter was great at suggesting the perfect wine, drinks for the kids, and dessert. Wonderful atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening as a family.

The traditional bisteca and Chianti wine were delicious. We also had gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti bolognese and fiorentina pizza, all of which were not at par with what we’ve eaten at other restaurants.

12 of us spent a wonderful night at this restaurant. The steaks were great, and we were served by Abano. He was the best host ever. I am so glad that we chose this restaurant over all others in Florence.

Disappointed in how long they took to bring us our food. We were there before the crowd and somehow the many tables got their food first. Steak was average. I could have gone somewhere else for a better steak. Gave us a wrong order after we told them it wasn’t ours. They insisted it was. Pasta was probably the only thing not disappointing.
