The service was excellent - dinner so - so. I ordered the lamb chops which were very tasty however, definitely not tender! Frites were delicious however vegetables were very over cooked. Desert was awsome!

Fantastic dining experience. Authentic local favorite dishes with great taste and presentation. Passionate customer service for both returning customers and visiting tourists. We had to make last minute change to our reservation time due to unexpected train delays but we received prompt assurance from restaurant that our late arrival would not be a problem. We really appreciate their hospitality and warm welcome. Highly commended!

We read about La Brocherie in the "Lonely Planet" guidebook and it did not disappoint. The goat cheese salad was amazing as was the tomato salad. Both were too much for the two of us (very generous portions). I had a mixed seafood dish and my husband had the bone-in ribeye both of which were perfectly cooked. Delicious wine and quite affordable. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant in Aix. I return here every time I travel for work. The food is high quality and delicious-- typical fare for the region. The service and ambience is the BEST. I have entertained guests at this restaurant and these colleagues return later on because this is an amazing place to dine.

Food quality is great. Some of the best grilled meat I tried and surely the best in Aix. Service is really pleasant, never intrusive and contributes to the very charateristic athosphere. This is a truly French restaurant

Ordered T-bone steak as recommended by the waiter. The steak was medium done but it was not tender at all. The steak knife provided was rather dull, requiring quite a bit effort to cut through the meat. I ended up not being able to swallow 1/3 of the steak. Am surprised at the restaurant’s relatively high rating (4.6/5)

+1Main dish (cote de boeuf) and dessert (cafe de gourmande) were all excellent! Serving speed and kindness were also good. Hope to visit again soon.

Beware solo travelers. While there were a number of open tables when I arrived and when I left, I was seated at a table next to the salad bar with a view of the toilettes. Literally, I watched 2 men enter the ladies room, not close the door fully and, well, use the toilet with only a sheer drape blocking my view. This was My 5 or 6th, and certainly l, my last visit. How was the food? Hard to say— the foie gras was good; the steak was very fatty and just ok. But I didn’t enjoy a single moment of my time there. I got out as fast as I could, 55 or so EU later….

The restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel front desk. We had been in south France about 9 days and hadn’t had any bad meals, so we really expected a nice dinner. The fish soup was hot and delicious. We all liked it. Then the main dish duck was disappointing; it tasted nothing but bloody flavor. We also had grilled bream fish. When asked serve options, we selected fishbones removed. It came in with grilled skin downside, and no vegetable decoration. The presentation could be improved. As non-French speaking tourists we didn’t feel warmly welcomed.

I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 20 years. Excellent food, wine and staff in a great atmosphere. Full on a Thursday night. Several parties turned away. Booking strongly recommended.

very good the meat (especially the roast duck). The bouillabaisse was tasty but needs a little bit more care, we found a lot of fish bones and scales. The creme brulee with levanda was delicious. In total a very good restaurant,tasty,value for money.

A remarkable restaurant in Aix. Beautiful interior space and exquisite food prepared over an open fire grill. Best duck dish ever, delicious Bouillabaise, and salad delicate with the perfect dressing. Magnifique!

Traditional french but not snobish. You can enjoy typical French local food at a very reasonable price, and the flavorful meat and fresh seafood cooked over charcoal fire, good service, and a friendly atmosphere make your dinner even better.

Best value for money in Aix. Excellent quality on all courses, but side dishes does not always match the perfect taste of the main dish. Friendly "family like" service - and a little abstract "greek tavern look alike" interieur.
