We read about La Brocherie in the "Lonely Planet" guidebook and it did not disappoint. The goat cheese salad was amazing as was the tomato salad. Both were too much for the two of us (very generous portions). I had a mixed seafood dish and my husband had the bone-in ribeye both of which were perfectly cooked. Delicious wine and quite affordable. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant in Aix. I return here every time I travel for work. The food is high quality and delicious-- typical fare for the region. The service and ambience is the BEST. I have entertained guests at this restaurant and these colleagues return later on because this is an amazing place to dine.

Food quality is great. Some of the best grilled meat I tried and surely the best in Aix. Service is really pleasant, never intrusive and contributes to the very charateristic athosphere. This is a truly French restaurant

Ordered T-bone steak as recommended by the waiter. The steak was medium done but it was not tender at all. The steak knife provided was rather dull, requiring quite a bit effort to cut through the meat. I ended up not being able to swallow 1/3 of the steak. Am surprised at the restaurant’s relatively high rating (4.6/5)

Beware solo travelers. While there were a number of open tables when I arrived and when I left, I was seated at a table next to the salad bar with a view of the toilettes. Literally, I watched 2 men enter the ladies room, not close the door fully and, well, use the toilet with only a sheer drape blocking my view. This was My 5 or 6th, and certainly l, my last visit. How was the food? Hard to say— the foie gras was good; the steak was very fatty and just ok. But I didn’t enjoy a single moment of my time there. I got out as fast as I could, 55 or so EU later….
