Disappointing! Service was outstanding but food was very average! We had for main courses, lamb chops and bbq ribs. Lamb chops were small/thin and overcooked. Pork ribs were half all fat. The best was panacota for dessert.

The ambiance, level of caring service, and delicious food complemented by interesting wines combine to make this dining event a culinary hug! The level of care this restaurant team takes with everything they do is exemplified not only by their focus on providing top quality Spanish food to our group, but also by the attention (and goodies) given to our small dog. We felt the love! All this at a very reasonable price for the total experience. Fantastic!

What an excellent evening! From Alfonso’s capable service and excellent croquetas (may be best that I’ve had!) steak and lamb to great and reasonable wines by the glass, it was a perfect dinner.

This was our best meal in Madrid! The menu is creative and delicious. The wine list provided nice variety and the service was attentive and welcoming. After our wonderful meal we enjoyed a lovely complementary panne cotta - save room and order this dessert!

This is our theirs visit to La Burbujeria. We are always surprised that this restaurant hasn’t been ‘discovered’. The food is excellent and the service is very good. And the panna cotta is the best we have ever eaten. Also a great wine list.

My wife and I are currently visiting Madrid and truly enjoyed amazing food of this cozy restaurant last night. Their sweetbread, cuttlefish, and today’s fish item were particularly outstanding. Our server Alfonso was terribly busy (there were only two servers in the entire restaurant), but tried his best to take very good care of us. He was efficient, attentive and very friendly. He also recommended a wonderful white wine. We will be back when we are visiting Madrid next time!

A fantastic meal. The owner did a lot in the restaurant including making drinks and serving but it added to the charm. The food is first class.

Server was gracious and helpful. The sea bream and cuttlefish were nicely prepared. We appreciated the fact that we were able to eat earlier than at many Spanish restaurants. Good wine list; I had a very moderately-priced bottle of Godella from Valdeoras (Galicia) - about 31 euros - that was delicious. Location is not very far off the Gran Via.

Service was top Food was more than that. Excelent taste and the choise was good enough. ( vega, fish, meat) it was no problem to share all the dishes. Service perfect and freindly. Also they have some tastefull wines. The white from madrid.. love it Nothing more to say. Just keep it going strong.

Amazing food and good service. Some nice touches too with a free shot of peach schnapps at the end of the meal. Also, the bill was refreshingly small :-)

Very inviting atmosphere. Our waiter was awesome. She guided us through the menu and everyone loved every dish. Highly recommended!!

Interesting, unusual and delicious food and excellent service. We especially enjoyed the anchovies, grilled sweetbreads and padron peppers, stingray with ratatouille, and flan-like cheesecake for desert. They brought us complementary glasses of Cava at the end. Highly recommended!

Eating at La Burbujeria was wonderful. Every course was unusual and amazing! Our waiter was great, attentive, explained choices and generally pleasant. Other wait staff were excellent too. I will remember this experience for ever.

The food was really good , the service also. We had some small tapas and then sirloin as main course. However , we were the only guests in the restaurant at 14h , which is a pity since the restaurant is worth while.

Too many people. Tourist trap. No service. Not the fault of waiting staff, owners clearly trying to pack too many people in for profit.
La BurbujeríaDear María, you were at our place on monday 7th and there were at the restaurant just 14 customers, as any regurlar monday, the restaurant can sit 50 guest at the same time. Cannot understand your comment. At la Burbujeria we take a lot of care to people, maybe you are thinking of other restaurant. Thanks for your comment

We had 2 nights in Madrid and this was the first place we decided to try. Our Spanish was was terrible but the waiter's English was good enough to understand our tastes. He recommended some great starters and 2 main dishes which we split and his timing of each dish was perfect, didn't feel rushed, and definitely weren't left waiting too long. The Beef cheeks were absolutely amazing. The Hummus was best I have ever eaten, and the tiramisu was the exclamation point. We expected a nice experience, what we got, was so much more. Great Job guys! Thank you again.

The server Alfonzo was great and was able to speak a little English with me. The food was scrumptious. I ordered the red snapper with a sauce that was yummy, maybe bechumel. It came with perfectly cooked potato slices. My Gin and Tonic was quite large and the crusty bread with olive oil completed my dinner. No room for dessert but I did have a cafe con leche. Highly recommend and depending on when you go, you may need reservations. It’s very cozy and not big.

Absolutely amazing food and service! One of the best restaurants we visited on our trip. The steak was great but the sweet potatoes were a fantastic surprise. Every dish we had delicious and we highly recommend a visit.
