7/10I went for the Menu of the chef. Unfortunately, it took 1h30 to get the starter and 30 minutes waiting for the dessert. Though the food was very good. The service tried to support but the waiting time was too long. I am sure it will be better next time. Very sympathetic team.

10/10I am very happy we were able to have lunch at La Cantine and I recommend you do as well if you are visiting or living in Geneva! The service provided by the staff and Natalie made us feel warm and welcome and the dishes were delicious and appetizing, one after the other. The recommendations provided by their team were meaningful and I am happy we had this experience. Thank you to all at La Cantine!

10/10A lovely dining experience. The food was excellent and the service delightful, more than making up for the dishes being a little slow to arrive. The seasonal game dish (venison) was perhaps one of best such dinners we’d ever had. The Basque cake with rum sorbet might just be worth a special trip to La Cantine. The menu is short, but that’s because the chef is successfully concentrating his talents. The wine and food pairings were excellent. A pleasant place for a fancy but relaxed family dinner or for a romantic evening. Very nicely priced for the quality.

10/10A fantastic restaurant with excellent, well prepared and well presented food and wonderful service. They have really good fish dishes and very decent plat du jour options. A definite gem in the Jonction-Plainpalais quartier!

5.5/10Very disappointed. We ordered at 19h30 at 19h45 they brought the drinks and the starters and we were only served the main course at 21h30. Ignored by the waitress and waiter for nearly 2 hours with our empty plates an glasses on the table. Luckily we had ordered the wine at the same time as the food so it was on the table with the starters but neither the waiter nor the waitress had us taste or served us a glass for the whole evening. For the wait they decided to offer our first drinks. For me 2 hours of our time is worth more than a beer and a Hugo. In the end we should have got up and left. The food was pretty good but over priced for this kind of service. Do not go if you are hungry or have plans for after!
