The outside seating area is on a busy road- not ideal and the aircon was on inside which was too cold. Not an issue but they didn’t have our booking. Food was tasty and good quality.

We reserved a table for four people. We had a lovely table, very inviting when we arrived, excellent service and the food was delicious. We all had different meals, The fish, lamb and Pork mesls served were so tasty. A great atmosphere in the restaurant.

We had a lovely evening in La Casa De Papel. The restaurant was very inviting,, lovely ambience and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The restaurant was nice and warm and very busy. The staff were all very pleasant. The wine was very nice and the food was really tasty. A new menu with lots of tasty choices. We had the Salmon and the lamb , both very tasty with vegetables and potatoes. For sweet, we had Whiskey cake which was so yummy.

It was our second visit and can't fault food and service, but I must say the ambience changed dramatically when a lady I presume the owner arrived, gone was the happy cheery staff you could cut the atmosphere with a knife and others noticed too, normality returned as she took herself to one of the outside tables! If I could offer her any advice it would be manage from afar let the team do their job and keep Customers coming back!

Food was great . Service was warm and attentive. Our only gripe was we were told to scan the menu on our phones from a QR code while every other customer was handed a menu and that too in English for English speaking customers . The staff were otherwise friendly and helpful.

The staff were so friendly and the menus so very authentic Spanish . Very quiet though . Surprised for such a nice restaurant but it was a big match night so perhaps that was the reason

We really enjoyed our meal, it was proper traditional local food cooked with care. The service was excellent and very efficient. We’ll definitely be going back. When, after lunch, my car wouldn’t start the owner went out of his way to give me a jump start and help me on my way. Many thanks, that was very much appreciated!!

You only get the option to use your phone (as online menu). The waiter seemed agitated that we couldn’t give our order straight away, but the menu was not easy to navigate. We couldn’t see if any wine could be bought by the glass, and there was no listing for any beers. After we could not choose a drink and the menu options for food looked bland we decided to walk. Probably won’t bother again, sorry….
