6.5/10If you are looking for a nice one-star stereotypical restaurant you will not find it here. We had a Michelin menu - some courses were great others plain. There is a lack of English - speaking stuff which is annoying when you would like to know what you eat - because there is no written menu. When we have asked for the bill then the waitress for an unknown reason read allowed herself to read it aloud in detail for all the other guests of the restaurant to hear. We had a table with a speaker in our ear even if I have asked for a nice quote table - restaurant was empty when we arrived. We have asked for a wine that fits dishes (since there was no written menu ordering a wine was difficult) but there seem to have been no proper selection and we just got „something“…was not the best wine neither a best fit. Overall disappointment and not going back. Pity, really, place is beautiful, must be lovely in summer with the garden.

3/10The service was a disaster for a one star restaurant like La chaumière is. The room was almost empty, and we had to wait between each plate around 20min. They literally ignored us sometime. We were served by an intern (which is of course not a problem), however, we were very surprised to see that she was left alone on the room and was not able to answer the basic questions of the dishes. Even a simple question about a cheese type, she was not able to answer. It is not her fault, she was trying her best, but no one was in the room to watch her, and our service suffered from it. Again, for a one star restaurant, this kind of service is simply not acceptable.

6/10I have heard a lot of good recommendations for this restaurant, so we decided to try it for our year-end dinner at work. The service was very good and we enjoyed ourselves otherwise, but gastronomically I do mot see a Michelin star level. Every time I go to a Michelin star restaurant, the food may or may not be to my tasting, but it never has obvious flaws. This time, absolutely all my side dishes were over-salted to a degree that I had to leave them all on the plate after trying. I didn’t want to cause a scene, so we didn’t say anything, but luckily I wasn’t very hungry.

9.5/10Excellent dishes all the way, we had their 6 courses dégustation menu,very refreshing dishes, feature lots od seafood for mid-Sept dining,Iike every dish, especially the Fera and the mussel/zucchini cannolini dish. Their service can be a bit quicker, even for a Saturday evening : )

9/10The food is amazing. Some of the waiters are new and “try too hard” to please you (it’s not as fluid as with someone more confident and experienced) but this is not a big deal. However I was disappointed that there were kids shrieking and yelling in the public playground immediately next to us (separated by a small hedge) - not a good ambiance for a Michelin-star restaurant. I know the use of a public playground is out of restaurant’s control, on other hand maybe don’t put tables right next to playground?? The kids left about 20:30, after which I was entirely satisfied with my experience.

5.5/10The service was a complete disaster. Empty dishes stay on the table for 20 minutes until the next one (the waiter comes with the next one and cannot put it on the table because of the old one still being there), nobody to serve you wine or water, bread comes once and that is it, new employees seem completely lost, our waiter made silly jokes about us, etc. The food is good though, and the wine list has interesting options. A shame, as the service will prevent me from returning there.

Le secteur de la restauration connaît un fort turnover et ce jour-là en raison de désistements de plusieurs personnes, nous avons dû faire face à une situation exceptionnelle, très difficile avec le personnel intérimaire. Nous sommes conscients de n’avoir pas pu offrir le service souhaité ce jour-là. Les mesures ont été prises pour qu'une telle situation ne se reproduise plus. 10/10It was a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, highly recommended. We had the menu dégustation, even if they usually do not serve it at lunch, thanks to the Chef and the staff for being so accommodating.

10/10This restaurant has had a new chef since 2016, and we finally dared to try it again. WOW. If I ever win the lottery, I will be eating there almost every day!! Each dish was beautifully presented with generous portions. The flavours were 3-5 layers deep, making me want to savour and experience every bite. A true Michelin-starred restaurant in my own neighbourhood ????.

10/10I had diner in La Chaumière with my husband. A bit apprehensive after the long period of confinement. It was a wonderful and safe experience. All staff wore face masks. A lot of space between the tables. And the food was delicious. What a great evening out after being confined for weeks.

10/10A wonderful and unique place, very cosy with a warm welcoming. The food was excellent, the dishes are modern with a great twist and you can define the chef signature. Tastes are well balanced and stays strong in the palette. The service was good and we definitely had a very enjoyable time there. Highly recommended. —Cheers

5/10Overpriced and overrated. Service is quite slow and menu not too exciting. Each of the plates i had, didnt have anything special to justify the price. It definitely did not my expectations. Ambience is nice though.
