The food and service were great, even though they were serving 100 tourists at the same time! The filet steak au poivre, daurade, and lamb shank were all beautifully prepared and presented, as was the asparagus entree.

We arrived and were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was fantastic and we even treated ourselves to some delicious dessert.

Very expensive wine, even the usual ones which are reasonable elsewhere. Very limited menu and priced so you have to have at least 2 courses. My duck was seriously over-cooked. No vegetables.

Our waiter was brilliant so charming and very helpful with the menu!!! Even though the restaurant was super quiet but it is out of season our waiter and the rest of the staff didn’t make us feel rushed at all…great steak!!

We sat outside, and although it was a chilly evening in October, the patio heaters and blankets on the chair seats made it comfortable. The patio was lower than the street and enclosed by large umbrellas, a fence, and trees, so that the space seemed secluded. The food was delicious, and the server friendly.

I had to leave a food and ambience rating of one star otherwise they would have been left blank. The restaurant called one hour before our reservation and said they couldn’t honor our 8:00 seating until 9:30. Unacceptable and the first time this has ever happened to me. We had been assured by friends that this was a great place so of course it was terribly disappointing that we couldn’t try it. We’re from the US so I’m not sure if or when we will be back to Avignon.

The service was awesome in spite the two large travel groups bringing served at the same time the food and wine choices were outstanding

They were extremely accommodating to our group of 7, one of whom has a gluten allergy and another who is vegan. The meal itself was delicious. The courtyard is gorgeous.

+2Our first visit in Avignon and this restaurant is located at a perfect spot. In the city but not in the crowded area. The food and service were outstanding and excellent. Definitely recommend this place for French cuisine experience.

There was a slight misunderstanding when placing the order, but it was resolved smoothly. I loved the food and presentation. The experience would have been even better if it weren’t for the mosquitoes.

A lovely terrace with friendly staff. Service was ok but the wait between starters and mains was too long and some of the food lacked flavour, especially the egg starter and the entrecôte. We probably wouldn’t return for this reason.

Really nice meal. Lovely tuna tataki to start and beautifully cooked beef filet. Unfortunately it was raining and there was only space to sit outside, so that affected our ambience - which wasn't the restaurant's fault! They tried our best to move us under some shelter, but really it would have been better if we could have gone inside.

Staff was lovely from the start. We arrived early but were seated immediately. Waiter recommended portions were perfect. Stunning setting that you feel privileged to be included in as the local family’s and visiting guests shared this stunning courtyard. We shared the tuna tataki, beef tartar and a completely amazing tomato and burrata salad. What a wonderful sunset meal.

A very memorable dining experience. This is our second time. We came with a large family. They were very accomodating, super friendly and of course, great food and ambiance!

Charming restaurant with lovely outdoor seating. Food was outstanding. My husband and I split a starter, each got an entree and split dessert. All the staff were delightful and attentive. Wonderful experience!

This was our only disappointing dining experience in the beautiful little city of Avignon. The kitchen sent out two of our plates (my entree and my partner's main) cold. The one waiter was so busy with a large tour group which was dining at the same time that by the time he noticed we weren't eating, it was really to late to rectify. For the price of the food & drink, this should not have happened. Perhaps the kitchen had an "off" night but I could not recommend this restaurant. There are so many outstanding dining options in Avignon that I would never return here.

Food was good and we had a nice table, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. Food took forever, and a very nice 15 year old bottle of wine was opened and left on the table for 45 minutes. Never decanted, nor presented for tasting. When dinner finally arrived, I just poured it. It was fine, but I thought it deserved better.

We booked here at short notice and so glad we did! The food was so good, and excellent value. Lovely and reasonably priced wine. Service was excellent too, friendly and efficient (but not rushed).

Polite and attentive staff, some staff did speak English or at least understood. Food was overall excellent and portions were quite generous.
