Very expensive wine, even the usual ones which are reasonable elsewhere. Very limited menu and priced so you have to have at least 2 courses. My duck was seriously over-cooked. No vegetables.

Our waiter was brilliant so charming and very helpful with the menu!!! Even though the restaurant was super quiet but it is out of season our waiter and the rest of the staff didn’t make us feel rushed at all…great steak!!

We sat outside, and although it was a chilly evening in October, the patio heaters and blankets on the chair seats made it comfortable. The patio was lower than the street and enclosed by large umbrellas, a fence, and trees, so that the space seemed secluded. The food was delicious, and the server friendly.

I had to leave a food and ambience rating of one star otherwise they would have been left blank. The restaurant called one hour before our reservation and said they couldn’t honor our 8:00 seating until 9:30. Unacceptable and the first time this has ever happened to me. We had been assured by friends that this was a great place so of course it was terribly disappointing that we couldn’t try it. We’re from the US so I’m not sure if or when we will be back to Avignon.

They were extremely accommodating to our group of 7, one of whom has a gluten allergy and another who is vegan. The meal itself was delicious. The courtyard is gorgeous.

Our first visit in Avignon and this restaurant is located at a perfect spot. In the city but not in the crowded area. The food and service were outstanding and excellent. Definitely recommend this place for French cuisine experience.
